My daughter attended Dance Class 2009-2010 She was in the 3-4 split class. I was told to purchase both ballet shoes and tap shoes. I only recall her using the tap shoes 1-2 times and when I would ask her if they did any tap she would always say "no". Young children often do not speak about what they do in school so I didnt think anything of it and she was able to show me her dance moves when recital was approaching but I have to say the second I opened the playbook at the recital and noticed how few students had attended for over 3 years I was suspicious and later not a bit surprised. While the little ones did well ,how could they not be cute, I felt so bad for the older children. They clearly had little to no instruction. I could see if a few children didnt have the dance ability but it seemed that every act including the teenagers/instructors had little ability. Even other family members were making comments about how awful the older students preformed and I blame the school! I have been to recitals and truly enjoyed each and every act and then there was this one........I couldnt wait for it to be over. The recital was so completely disorganized. We were given no instruction on the day of the recital. While I dont expect much instruction when the children are as young as my daughter I did make the decision to go somewhere else so that if my daughter chooses to continue as she gets older she will receive better instruction.

First, I think it is nice that the 2 reviews from 2008 are positive and read more like an advertisement. However, they are definitely not describing my experience at this school. The most recent posting on June 10, 2010 outlines my disappointing and frustrating experience with the school to a "T." It is as if the school stole money from all the parents in my childs class. Not one child learned how to dance. Through the year, they watch the other students dance, watched a movie during a class, and played some games with hola hoops. To prepare for the recital, the children were taught to follow and watch their teachers instead of learning steps. The girls who worked with our kids were very nice, but they were young students; not teachers. My child didnt want to go anymore because it was boring. I guess the owner is of the mind set that if they dress them up at the recital, the parents wont notice they didnt learn to dance. I recommend saving yourself the aggravation I went through, and go some place else.

I have been bringing the two girls that i watch to this school and we all love it. I started taking zumba here for a year now and i love going every week!! I took the one girl i watch to some other schools first to look around and she wouldnt even leave my side but since the first day we walked in these doors the teachers have really shown her how to break out of her shell and open up. Since than we signed her little sister up and now every day she asks me if i can take her to dance class.The staff is very talented and really know how to reach to the students. The dance class staff truly makes you feel like you are a big family! We have made good friends already and cont every week to make more! I cant wait for what the future will hold for these girls and the rest of the dance class students and staff! Keep up the great work dance class staff and students!

My girls have been dancing 7&8 years (1/2 of those years, competitively). Theyre just starting their second year here @ Dance Class. My husband, Joel and I couldnt have been happier with their transition. They have made many new friends. Not only are the kids talented. But they are also, humble, kind, caring and supportive of one another. The instructors and staff are, friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable, just plain awesome! You can have all your dance needs met here. Classes in the different genres and also dance wear. The competition team has been recognized for many special awards. Whether youre looking for a dance studio for your child, recreational or competitive, you must check this studio out first!!!

My shy little girl has blossomed into a performer thanks to the professional, talented, and dedicated staff at Dance Class. They have given my daughter confidence and a drive to do her best. The atmosphere is filled with kindness and support which is at the heart of what they teach. This year my youngest will start in the 3 year olds group and loved the Kidnetics class that was offered last spring. She asks all the time when can she go to dance. I also participate in the Zumba classes offered at the school. I was fortunate to dance at a school owned by a family friend when I was little, and I feel that Dance Class is providing the same experience that I loved as a child.

We are in our second year with this school. Great dance instructions, discipline and fun all come together there. The stuff is very welcoming and ENTHUSIASTIC that makes a huge difference in the outcome. 2013 recital was a success! In comparison to recitals at two different dance schools in the past (school #1: very well organized, but somewhat typical moves and costumes that repeated form dance to dance; school #2 was a complete disaster, children did not learn anything, was not organized) dance class performance was well organized, enjoyable and fun to watch. Children do learn to dance at this school!!! Instructors are happy to see their students progress!!!

My daughter is dancing in her 3rd season at Dance Class. Being a single dad, honestly, I was hoping that she didnt want to dance this year. BOY, was I wrong! She went on and on telling me the things shes learned there, "and not just dance daddy". Miss Deb, Mr. Greg, Miss Sara, Miss Fallon, Ms. Andi, you guys are awesome!! You guys foster a great atmosphere for the students that makes them want to dance and to be better students and kids. Im glad my daughter "talked me into" staying on with Dance Class. My daughter has been at Dance Class for 10 years. She is a competition dancer of all disciplines, her team received 1st place on their very first competition! This was achieved by many hours of hard work and professional instruction. The current teaching staff are all dancers with degrees and/or professional experience. Dance Class is a Professional School. If you want the best instruction for or your childs emotional, creative and dance experience check it out for yourself you will be extremely happy you did!!!

Dance Class is a wonderful dance studio! Our daughter has been enrolled in various dance and acro classes for over 5 years and she has learned excellent dance skills. All of the staff members are extremely qualified and enthusiastic to teach the students. The entire staff is very welcoming and really treat the students with love and respect. It feels like a second home for our daughter! I highly recommend Dance Class for anyone looking for an excellent dance program!

We first came to Dance Class for my daughters third birthday party. Not only did we have a great time at the party, but my girls started to attend classes here. Four years later and both of our girls are still taking classes and are part of the competition team. Theyve made great friends and love all the teachers and staff.
