Biondo Contracting is the best contractor around! We had had some roof problems on our 16 year old home for a number of years. After a few years of repairs, we felt it time to get the entire roof torn off and redone with the newer architectural shingles. Since we had a relatively new home, we were not accustomed to using contractors and interviewing them for the best one. We joined Angies List to find a reputable contractor to do the work. Biondo Contracting came up with all A+ reviews and obtained the coveted Super Service Award. Just to do our due diligence we did contact two other contractors. One never returned our calls and the other, who was recommended by the contractor who had done some of the roof repairs over the years, showed up 6 hours later than we scheduled when we werent home We had to contact him the next day when I happened to notice his business card tucked into our front storm door. He suggested a total roof repair, including the removal of all gutters and upper siding to make sure the job was done right and quoted the job for $6,000 over what Sam Biondo said he could do it for. Sam Biondo responded to our request on a Sunday evening about an hour after we requested a call from him. He scheduled an appt. for two days later and came when scheduled. He explained the whole process to us, recommending a certain roof shingle since we had experienced problems with shingle tear off and have some wind issues. After walking us through everything, we chose a shingle color and he came within two weeks to install. He was on the job the entire time with his crew during a heat wave and completed our total roof repair on time. Even when there was an unexpected downpour, he and his crew stayed on the job under tarps on the roof to complete the portion of the roof that was still exposed. They came back early the next morning and completed the job on time. He had placed tarps on all of our landscaping and nothing was harmed during the process. Sam does not believe in bringing in a dumpster to take up space on your driveway or to possibly damage the black top. He and his crew loaded up his dump truck and hauled away all the debris at the end of the days work. We also then contracted him to replace our wooden porch post with a maintenance free post - he did a great job and he even put up our house numbers and new flag pole holder on it for us!!! We were very happy with the job Sam and his crew did, but the story doesnt stop there. That was in the summer of 2012 - when Super Storm Sandy hit just two months later, our home was the only one on the block with no roof damage - it weathered the storm with 100 mile an hour winds. We did lose one of our side attic gable vents and contacted Sam the next day just to get on his list of repairs, knowing that it probably would take awhile for that to happen considering what everyone in the area had gone through. Even during the aftermath of the storm, with his own home having sustained some damage and having no power, Sam came out to repair/replace our attic vent the day after the storm. He is one guy I know who will always have his customers backs, no matter what! I could go on and on about his virtues and work ethic. Suffice it to say, he is one in a million and will keep his number handy whenever I need more work done. His customers are always #1!!! You wont go wrong hiring Sam and his team for your next roofing, siding or window work.

On Monday October 29th at 8pm, at the height the super storm Sandy, a huge tree hit my house crushing a section of the roof, cracking a ceiling in one of our bedrooms, and piercing the ceiling of a second. After i put a bucket under the branch to catch the water coming in, the first thing that i did, and turns out the smartest, was call Sam Biondo. Sam did our roof around ten years ago, and to my surprise, and gratitude Sam picked up the phone, during the storm. Although it took a day to get the tree taken off my roof, Sam was at my house on Wednesday morning temporarily patching the hole. He did all of his measurements, had an estimate the next day that i passed on to All State. He ordered the materials, and started the job on the following Monday. Day one he had half the roof done as well as replacing damaged rafters, day two was a rainout, Wednesday, the roof as well as five skylights were done. Thursday the bedrooms were sheet rocked, and all of the remaining trim around the roof was completed. Friday, the bedrooms were spackled and primed, and finally Saturday and Sunday, paint and final clean up. Sam was amazing. He was there for us, moved the project along very efficiently and quickly, not to mention that the quality of the work was perfect. It was a stressful couple of weeks, but working with Sam and his crew, made the ordeal easy to get through. If you want to know more about Sam, call me, or better yet, come take a look at my roof!

We found Biondo Contracting the old fashioned way - through the phone book, but checked references through The Better Business Bureau and a Google search. Everything looked good, so we called Biondo for an estimate for a new roof on our home. The references we read were not wrong! Sam Biondo came himself for the estimate, walked us through the entire process, and provided us with a very fair cost estimate for the job. We expressed concerns to Sam about who would be completing the work as we have had issues in the past with our jobs being sub-contracted. Sam assured us the job would not be sub-contracted, and he would be on-site throughout the job, which would take one day to complete. Sam and his crew showed up on-time at 8:00am, and the entire roof was replaced by 4:00pm! Our landscaping and deck were protected, and the yard, driveway and patio completely cleaned up before the crew left. Sam contacted us a day or two later to make sure we were happy with the job and that everything was completed to our satisfaction. He even sent a nice "thank you for your business" card afterwards! Very professional service from start to finish, and I would not hesitate to recommend Biondo Contracting!

If you are in need of a roof, you need to put Biondo at the TOP of your list. I was impressed with everything about my experience from how quickly they got back to me, the assessment, the written quote, the information on the materials and process, the GREAT PRICING, the financing options... All this BEFORE their team arrived!!! Sam Biondo promised me his team would be at my home by 7:30am - they were prepping the roof at 7:23! He promised the materials would arrive by 8:00am - the truck arrived at 7:55am!!! They completed my job in about 5 hours and actually cleaned up my property BETTER than when they arrived!!! (They took away some downed branches I moved against a fence!) I wont need another roof for a couple of decades, but if I did, I wouldnt hesitate to call Sam Biondo and his team for one instant. Do yourself a favor and let them quote your roof and I am sure you will hire them!!! What?? I can only give them 5 Stars?. If thats the best, so be it!!
