I Love this salon! Not only is everyone friendly, the place is very clean, spacious and best of all I have never actually waited more than two minutes for my turn. Theyre open on Sundays and during the week are open till 7 pm. They are all great. My 8 year old daughter gave it two thumbs up on her first visit because they left her hair super statight (she has long curly hair). I have done my hair with different hairdressers there and every single time my hair comes out on point. The owner Alexandra "Alex" is an expert at cutting bangs. She recently cut my bangs with a razor and trimmed the edges with scissors cutting upwards and I couldnt be happier; my husband loves it. I have also done a relaxer and coloring on the same day and my hair came out super soft and straight. A++++ #Dominicansalon

I have been going to Dominican Beauty for the past 9 years and from day one I have always walked out loving my hair. I always tell others that Alex (owner) believes in quality first. Now she will make you look good, but she believes that if your is healthy it will look good even in a ponytail. I can contest to her belief. I still receive many compliments on my hair even when its pulled back. My husband loves what she does with my hair. I have had cuts, highlights, and the Brazilian Keratin and my hair is still very healthy. I will not let anyone else touch my hair. It takes time to trust someone with your hair. I have that trust with Alex!! I came to her with damaged hair...that is now a distant past for me. Thanks Alex!!!!!!

I been coming to this hair salon for two years and alex does a wonderfull job specially for my type of hair very curly and thin. For me is not easy to put my hair to a stranger but a friend of mine recommend this place and since then I been coming hear. Also Alex was in charge for my weeding hair and makeup for my mom and myself wow she make sure the I look the best that day make up and hair look natural and last it al day. Another great think she has is that Alex would always give you the most honest advice about what is best for your looks and health for you hair. Great coworkers always happy and makes sure you get the best service.

I walked into the store, hoping to get a blowout like usual. I sat down to wait and said I wanted a blowout. Another woman walked in after me and unlike with me, the worker went to her and asked her what she wanted then proceeded to do her hair before mine. I was a little annoyed by then. She (the worker) then sat down and did whatever she pleased on her phone without even bothering to notice me still waiting. I needed a blowout desperately, but it seems like neither of those workers seemed to care. Never going back.

Im new to the east coast and was looking for a salon and stumbled across this one. The first time I came I asked to have just a cut with long layers... my hair was cut but no layers were put in and I didnt notice because of the way it was styled. I then came back so they can fix my hair and I had to pay again (not the issue) but left with my hair wet because they were too busy to straighten it. I waited 2 hours to leave with my hair wet. I will not be going back.
