Before we moved to NJ our son was in a Goddard School in PA. The difference between the two is striking. First and foremost are the teachers. As in any buisness front line employees or customer facing employees make or break a business. This Goddard school has outstanding teachers who understand that their job is to take care of the most important thing in our lives, our son. That makes going to work each day so much easier knowing that our son is in suching loving and caring hands. It is very difficult to send our son to daycare and not staying home with him, but your teachers have eased that concern a great deal. With that being said, there are several other things that make this Goddard school great. The little things like the dinner at the end of the summer that you provided was a nice touch. The night out/sleepover (which we did not attend for other reasons) seemed like a great idea. The PTO that is at the school, the pizza day, green eggs and ham day and the pictures sent throughout the day are all things that make our lives easier and better. Also from an owner/operations standpoint there are several things. First in dealing with Dhiman I feel like I am dealing with a person who knows how to run a business, which is comforting. He knows all the childern at his business and knows all the parents. He makes it easier to do business with him. At our other location we did not get the same feeling. The owner was not nearly as accesable. Also, when our son fell and cut his lip and both my wife and I were nearly 2 hours away (in different directions) his promptness in contacting us and letting us know what happened in a responsible way was great. I remember him saying that he would have taken our son to the hospital to get stitches himeslf if he had to, which was something that he may not remember but something that stuck with me as somebody who truly cared about his kids. And finally I dont feel that this Goddard tries to nickel and dime us at all. I was 30 minutes late picking up my son one time (6:30) and although I felt awful for my son your leadership team did not feel it was a huge deal. That made me feel like your school realizes that there are times when things happen in our lives (traffic in particular)that add stress and they react like any good business and go with the flow.

We have been part of the Flemington Goddard family for 8 years. My daughter is now in 3rd grade and continues to read at levels well above most other students at the school she now attends. She was extremely well prepared and continues to maintain her friendships from Goddard to this day. My son is graduating Goddard Kindergarten this year and can fluidly read and has basic math concepts down. He is young for his class, but very well prepared for public school. What I would have liked to know when I was looking for the right daycare: 1. There is very little turn over in the teaching staff. The teachers have been consistent in my 8 years at the school. They are phenomenal and teach with a warm touch. 2. The Goddard philosophy encourages teaching children through play. I take my son in to school and he does not want to leave. He gets frustrated if I am early to pick him up. He is a child who loves to chat and be the class clown, but the Kindergarten teacher has systems in place that have helped him learn self-control in the classroom. 3. My daughter was quiet and very different than my son. She flourished at the school - the teachers helped make her comfortable and were able to bring her out of her shell. 4. The families that enroll their children in this school are dedicated and focus on the social and educational development of the children. There are kind faces everywhere which helped our transition to the new town. 5. The investment in the children was WELL worth it. All of the children who graduated with my daughter are either in the gifted programs or are testing for the programs. They are involved in sports and music and are so much fun to watch grow. Dont hesitate if you are considering this school. You wont regret it.

Our son began attending the Goddard School in Flemington when he was about 2 ½ years old and remained enrolled there full-time until he began kindergarten this year. During that time at Goddard he flourished academically, physically and socially. The Goddard School is so much more than just a “baby-sitting” facility where one “drops off” their child while they take care of other things. In fact, even when our employment situation changed and it was no longer necessary for us to keep our son enrolled, we did so anyway because we felt that it was so beneficial to his development. The care-givers at the Goddard School are all skilled and dedicated educators. Our son is entering Kindergarten with reading, writing, and math skills that are significantly above his grade level. The care-givers were also wonderful in the balance they applied between letting the children have fun while at the same time learning the importance of rules and discipline. The Goddard School in Flemington was also a fun place that made multiple extracurricular activities available such as various fitness and art classes, karate, computers, and many more. Our son also enjoyed the wonderful summer camp each year. Our son made so many close friends among the teachers and students that he was very sad when he graduated! Still, he was also very excited about the next adventure in his life and we have the Goddard School in Flemington to be thankful to for the wonderful job they did in preparing him. We strongly recommend this school to all parents looking for a place where their child will learn, have fun, and make good friends.

What can I say? The Goddard School in Flemington has been a part of my family for 9 years. My children are 8 and 5 1/2 and this the last two weeks for my youngest (she will enter public school in the Fall). I am actually SAD. :-( I have so many great memories! Both my daughters had the same teachers .... it is amazing how there is little or no teacher turn-over! I loved how the teachers knew both my girls from such a young age (5 months) and always comment how much they have grown! Both my kids started at 5 months and while it was so scary dropping them off that first day - everyone was so kind and loving and I felt comfortable right away. You can SEE how much the teachers care for your child. They communicate so well with the parents and really kept me informed of everything that went on every day. I believe that my kids are so outgoing, friendly and brave because of the awesome experience they had at Goddard. The curriculum is also spectacular. My children did not go to the Kindergarten program (although I hear its awesome) but when they went to public school they were so prepared and way ahead of many of the other kids. The transition to public school was so smooth ... they were truly prepared for anything. I would recommend this Goddard to any family .... I cannot believe that this is the last few weeks I will make my daily stop. I will miss everyone! We highly recommend this Goddard to anyone!!!!
