I came to this salon because I had a Groupon for a Brazilian wax. Maybe that was my first mistake. Everyone was very friendly at first, including the waxer. I then asked if I was allowed to shoot a reaction video, just for laughs, it being my first time getting waxed. She told me no, and thats fine and would have been the end of it, I get it, its probably not a request they get often, if ever. No problem. Except that she was now very put off by this, to the point where she let me know she was uncomfortable and felt awkward. I apologized and told her I still wanted the wax. She tried to convince me to come back another day, saying she had other appointments she still had to get to today. Mind you, I was not called back for a half hour beyond my appointment time because she was still with her previous client, which was absolutely no issue until she said this, as if I hadnt also had an appointment. I told her I still wanted it done and she said we would "see how far wed get" and that shed probably only do a bikini wax. I told her I had already paid for a Brazilian and she said I would still get my "moneys worth" (remember, Groupon). Throughout the time she is waxing me she continues to try to convince me not to get the whole thing done, she says the hair isnt long enough and she cant. I told her the receptionist told me to let the hair grow no longer than ten days and this is day ten. She continues suggesting I come back another day. At this point the wax is hurting me quite a bit and she tells me if the first area hurts me this much, she doesnt want to do the other parts because they hurt worse. During all of this, she continues to be standoffish and its very clear she doesnt want me to be there, so after she finishes the bikini area I accept that Im not going to get what I came for and I leave feeling embarrassed and humiliated by the entire experience.

I have been to many salons and I have to say, this is the most professional and relaxing one I have been to. The owner & staff is friendly, warm and professional. I look forward to every visit because I know I will get quality service and enjoy my time. I have had just about everyone there work on me but Josselyn is incredibly talented and super friendly. She listens to what you what, tells you what to expect and blows you away with her work. Her cutting, coloring and styling skills are amazing. I have an upcoming appointment coming up this month and I cant wait to go! I recommend all my friends and family, this place is different from the other salons around.
