You would think a few sandwiches would be easy enough. WRONG. Called in my order well before the typical rush hour. Had to call three times before someone actually picked up the phone. When I finally was able to place the order the older woman on the phone acted like the entire call was a waste of her time. Hung up mid question when I asked for the total for the order. Upon arriving it took well over thirty minutes before I got my food. I went to the counter to pay and the man seemed equally inconvenienced. After paying (well over a reasonable price) I left and opened the bag in the car. One sandwich was missing and the other two were made with ham instead of turkey. I had to go back in and the cashier told me after I leave the register it is no longer his responsibility. Frustrated I left the sandwiches and walked out. Do not understand the raving reviews above. Overpriced delicatessen, lazy and unhelpful staff, and incorrect sandwiches. You can bet I wont be returning.

This place is awesome. If you arent going here for the awesome selection of breakfast/lunch sandwiches then your trip is incomplete. This place is WAY out of the way, but worth the trip for a quality sandwich. If you enjoy independent, small eateries then this place is for you. Well worth the dangerous drive if youre coming from the southwest...drivers from Route 23 have it easy. This is a must go place in the area.

Very disappointed with the burger from this deli. Ordered it done medium what I received was a burger almost as black and as hard as a hockey puck. Unedible. I would not recommend the burger but have gotten deli sandwiches from there that were great and I love their potatoe salad.

Been coming here almost once a week for 2 years, the place is amazing the food and their specialty sandwiches are to die for!!! The flying flem is my favorite! When Im not dieting! Ha! Taylor ham sandwiches are the best in northern NJ.

That this off the beaten path deli is packed during lunch hour is a testament to the quality of the food here. There are the usual sandwiches and some unique combinations. Try the Mikes Delight, Richie Rich, Slickster or Roes Wrap.

There is a very good reason theres always a line for breakfast and lunch. Living in Kinnelon isnt complete without at least one visit here. If you arent from the area, its definitely worth stopping in for a bite to eat.
