Suma Foods is a very good place to buy Rotis especially if you are a single working professional. Quality wise it is far better than any other brand in New Jersey. My only concern is the hygiene of that place. PErsonally, I felt that it should be cleaned up or moved to a bigger space as they are growing. Its like a dungeon in there if are to pick up rotis directly from Suma foods rather than a grocery store where they supply. On two occasions, I have fallen sick just by going directly to Suma Foods as I felt that the Rotis would be fresh than having to pick up at Patel Cash & Carry where it would be outdated and expired. The ventillation is poor at Suma Foods and they are obviously cutting a lot of corners in running their business from that place. If only, they can regulate the whole place by making it more customer friendly than just operating from a Car Mechanic junkyard, they would see more people come by.

We recently bought whole wheat Chappathi by Suma Foods from Bhavik Cash & Carry Elmsford on Nov 23, 2014. We opened it at home on the same day to see the chappathi was spoiled with Fungus on it. I returned back to Bhavik the next day Nov 24, 2014 to inform the same. Store manager Praveen told me that he is not responsible for the quality of the products as they do not manufacture it there. (Though i believe the shop owners must ensure the quality of the products they sell). Hence i am posting this review about whole wheat Chappathi by Suma Foods here too. We were really disappointed to see such cheap quality of food distributed and sold. I have a toddler at home. What if one of us fell sick by eating the chappathi with fungus in it. Shopkeeper says all these questions needs to be answered by the manufacturer. I am also posting the photos of the spoiled chappathi.

We utilized Suma Catering for a corporate event with 20 people that we hosted at our house. The Service and food was great, they helped us customize a menu that worked on our budget. I would highly recommend anyone thinking about hosting a corporate event to reach out to Suma foods. You wont be disappointed.

Ordered Samosa recently. The worst quality that we ever tasted in NJ. They charged 90 cents for the big size and 60 cents for smaller size. In fact there were really small like mini. Waste of money.

I ordered Faraal(diwali sweets) and it was very delicious. They delivered it on time (Boston) and very well packed as well.
