" Im TRYING to give you a clue!" This is what I was told yesterday by an obviously frazzled, rude women (skinny,short hair) when trying to place a catering order for Christmas Eve. I had already checked online and knew I wanted to order the Yuletide package. As I was passing through Milltown on an errand and there were no cars out front or customers in the store I decided to pop in. It was lunch time, 12:40 so I asked the young girl at the counter if she had time to take a catering order.She was very friendly and professional. No problem I was told. I sat down at the table and she took all my info. I asked if I could substitute the stuffed mushrooms with another item as no one in my family eats mushrooms. Let me check she said at went to the back. She came out and said there would be an additional charge. Well can I just remove this item then? I asked. She again went to the back to ask. Thats when a women from the back came out and reprimanded me for being there! We werent expecting YOU!!! I asked if I could come back this afternoon "ABSOLUTELY NOT!!" Go home and look at the website she told me. When I told her I did she said "Im trying to give you a CLUE!" needless to say I walked out and will never do business with them again. I can spend my $300.00 plus where Im not insulted and berated. Now, anyone can have a bad day...and they had my cell and email but I heard nothing! I just hope the owner realizes that this employee is costing him/her business! I have been a customer since the days on Easton Ave and had many functions catered by them throughout my employment (St Peters and BGA) I will go elsewhere from now on. My advise....... Save yourself the aggravation. Spend your money somewhere where its appreciated!

When I was rung up, I was a bit surprised at the $7+ charge as all I ordered was a ham sandwich with fresh mozzarella cheese. I figured the sandwich was loaded with either copious amounts of, or spectacular meats. When I got home and opened it up, I was again surprised. A mere 4 slices of normal-tasting ham on it. I emailed them (at the link they provide) twice about my negative experience, no response to either message. I would not bother wasting my time or money going there again, as my sandwich was short on content, and overpriced. Lack of communication is a negative too. Many other nearby delis offer a better value and customer care.

Our office uses Legends frequently for rep lunches. The food arrives on time, its set up promptly, the sandwiches and salads are fresh and delicious. Little niceties are observed: adequate plates, utensils, napkins, bags of chips, varied drinks. Oh, and the best pickles ever! Office favorite.

Legends catered a party at my home. Food was delivered on time, set up quickly, and arrived hot and ready to eat. As good as the hot food was, the gourmet sandwiches were outstanding! People are still taking about it. I will definitely use them again.

I was doing business with the company next door and stopped in for lunch, and I was quite impressed, everything was fresh and tasty including the home made salads and cookies! It reminded me of a Deli from my old neighborhood in Brooklyn.

Great deli serving up the freshest sandwhichs. Great traditional, Italian and vegetarian selection. Baked goods are often sold warm. Check out their catering services as well.
