If I could give this salon negative stars I would. I started going to this salon based on a referral from my cousin. Everything was fine the first two visits. All subsequent visits were horrible. I started spacing out the visits to when I absolutely needed to have my hair done to only trims. The price was always different even though I wasnt getting the samethings done. Fast forward to my last visit...it was a Sunday which are usually not as busy. I previously washed and blow dryed my hair and was looking to have it straightened and trimed. After waiting 3 hours I was told that they needed to wash my hair in order to blow dry it and straighten it to trim it. I only wanted a trim. So, i caved in and had my hair rewashed, blow dryed. The shampoo lady was in the process of straightening my hair when the owner told me to come sit in her chair. She then proceeded to burn me with the blow dryer, meaning the dryer was angeled at my scalp and held there longer then necessary. When I said anything she would move the dryer but she would do it again over and over again but a little less obvious with each pass. That didnt matter because she had already burned my scalp. I had a scab in the middle of bangs for 3 weeks. I will never go back there ever and I wouldnt recommend them to my enemy. The owner deliberately did this because I questioned why I couldnt just have my hair trimed. If I had consulted a lawyer sooner I would have had a successful case.

If youre black or just have natural hair dont bother. If youre natural they automatically charge you extra for detangling. I detangled my hair before I got there and I even told the shampoo woman but it made no difference. After she washed my hair she wrapped the towel around my head and by the time I got into a chair my hair was dry. The owner milady was doing my hair and she just dove in ripping my hair out combing it, not bothering to make it wet and more manageable. I only got my hair washed, blow dried, and straightened. When I went to pay she charged me $55 and my mother who goes there often was $45 instead of the regular $40 she pays. My mother asked why mine was more and milady had the nerve to say because mine was rough and she should have charged more. I dont know if they dislike black people or just hate doing natural hair but during my visit I noticed a Spanish woman whose hair was straight with no natural curls. She got her hair washed, blow dried, straightened, and she got a trim. When she went to pay I heard the stylist say "cinquenta cinco" I took elementary Spanish in high school so I know that is $55. Throughout the time I was there milady and the shampoo woman kept talking in Spanish and I know one sentence was about my hair. They are very unprofessional and in a sense not true hair stylists since they dont know how to work with multiple hair types. I hope someone finds this helpful.

I absolutely love the way they do my hair. Ive never ever had someone make it so soft and shiny. They did my bleached dry hair and made it feel and look healthy again BUT! I have been coming here for about 2.5-3 years. I had a talk with the stylist and she thought it was my first time there.......-_-. I usually go with my mother and she never charged us more that 50 each. But this time I decided to go alone and she charged me $70, when I questioned her she claims they went up in price in January even though I had been there many of times since said price change. I really do think they make up prices. I pay a different price each time but I really think she charged me 70 because Im young and she thought she could gype me. And just the week before my mother went without me and they charged her $45. On top of all that she cut off about 2 inches of my hair without me asking (it was dead anyway) BUT SHE CHARGED ME $10 FOR IT! Im not the one to write bad reviews but I was completely outraged. I hope they see this btw. If you want your hair looking perfect but you have tons of money to blow at this salon then Id recommend it

The owner raise her prices every time I get my hair done. How the hell is a perm $85.00? If Im assisting this salon in the rent, at least inform me and allow me to make the choice; This way, I can "write it off" its tax time damn it! In addition to the salons owner price madness, one of the hair stylist constantly complains of Black customers putting hair grease in their hair. This particular stylist is obsessed with her "grease radar" with black clients. She also adds that black clients cause the salon to be smokey during the blow drying process due to the black clients putting hair grease in their hair. Im wondering, what the hell is she there for? I understand that it is cold outside right now but if the place become too smokey, at least, crack the damn door for a few moments instead of insidiously telling clients when they sit in her chair to stop putting hair grease in their hair because the grease causes the salon to be smokey. I think she is repulsive and ungrateful! And I witnessed a stylist allow one of her friends come in and bump a client thats been sitting and waiting for a long time.

I called and asked about pricing. I stated my hair was curly and passed my shoulders.... I was quoted $45 over the phone but was advised it would be best to come in that way she could see my hair and would be able to say for sure on the price. (Thats understandable) I went in and took my hair out of my bun... the lady grabbed my hair and pulled it straight then said $55 (I was okay with that) The issue I had is once I was done getting serviced and ready to pay I was informed the price was $60. I was told there was a $5 increase because of my length... I told her I didnt agree with the sudden price increase and if I was quoted one thing then thats what I should be paying. I was then told "its only $5 more" I dont give a damn if it was $2 more. I value every dollar and as a customer I didnt feel as my money or business was valued. The service wasnt worth $60... It was a simple wash and blowout. I appreciate the young lady who actually did my hair but the lady who handles the actual pricing and charging... (terrible) I will never go back due to her poor customer service.

Stay away! Not only is this place too expensive but the owners find ways to charge you more than their posted rates. The first time I went they charged me a few dollars more just for paying with a credit/debit card. The fee is not posted anywhere. They waited til I was paying to mention it. To be fair, I didnt wait too long and got a great haircut from the lady who actually does the work so I came back a second time and brought cash. I got the exact same work done by the exact same lady and it was well done again but this time they charged even more than the first with some BS explanation that they charge more for washing -- I got sprayed with a water bottle and that was both times I went! How is that a wash?? Way to treat a customer. I never went back. The lady who does the work should open her own place. The owners are holding her back.
