the west long branch shoprite needs major improvement, especially in the following areas. 1. more concern for customers..have benches for older customers to sit on instead of being so concerned with cramming as much product as possible..the customers pay your salaries, etc. so be more respectful of their needs 2. the aisles are so tight it is difficult to get around in the electric scooters...other stores make shopping enjoyable by providing wide aisles 3. the produce goes bad too quickly...it gets moldy..i have staeted shopping in other area stores and have noted a BIG difference in the freshness 4. get with the times and offer food delivery im not sure shoprite cares about what i have to say but i have the choice to not shop there

I shop here a couple to three times a week. When I have a large cart, I do all of my bagging. Why is that a handful of times each year, the express register folks cant seem to give me all of my purchase? Case in point, TODAY, with the JV TEAM (as theyre doing the bagging in the express line) and as I pay and then collect the bagged groceries that are on the platform where they bag, I pick up every bag there...............EXCEPT ONE! WHERE THE HELL WAS IT? I THOUGHT I TOOK ALL OF THEM. AT LEAST ALL THAT I SAW. THIS HAPPENS A HANDFUL OF TIMES A YEAR. TRAIN YOUR PEOPLE PROPERLY FORGODSAKE. CUSTOMER SERVICE - GONE JUST LIKE THE DINOSAURS.

This store can be limited in some respects. It has tons of choices for soda and boxed food items, but limited grocery in the freezer (aside from ice cream). I have found produce freshness to be a huge issue in this area, but this Shop Rite is by far the worse of the area grocers. Often times the onions are growing mold under their skin, the tomatoes are well-picked through (and soft). The store employees always pick the busiest times to restock as well, so between the customers that are in their own little worlds and the store employees restocking, its a major pain to shop here.

This one has a huge selection. Such a big supermarket, they really have everything you need in one place. I have a Pathmark closer to home but I drive an extra 10 minutes to this Shop Rite because they have so much more to choose from. Not to mention I find this Shop Rite better organized and cleaner. Ive had both good and not so good experiences with the staff hence Im only giving it four stars. Once certain employees improve their customer service quality, Ill update to five stars.

This is one of the WORST ShopRite stores I have been to. And I happen to SWEAR by ShopRite. To bad. In all fairness I have asked the staff where certain items were ,they were glad to help, the staff has been very kind. its a small store by todays standards.and they dont have the room to stock everything.it is however a ShopRite, and for the most part they try to please.Nice people work in ShopRite. plenty of places to park. And rest rooms.

I am surprised at the negative pharmacy comments. Not only do I find Joe Weiss and his team to be accurate, professional and consistently helpful, but whenever I have questions about medication interaction I just call. Suggestions: staff cannot easily see someone at the window. Camera? Bell? Also, more benches are needed throughout the store.

This Shop Rite is always nicely organized and the employees are always very pleasant. Unfortunately it is always so busy that regardless of the time/day of your visit you may feel as though you are in a traffic jam of shopping carts. Sometimes visiting the seemingly less fabulous markets seems more appealing as a result.

This pharmacy has the worst customer service I have ever encountered. While speaking to the employees they walk away, ignoring you or acting as if they dont care. Along with that, when there is an issue with a presciption they neglect to let the customer know and thus, I have been without needed prescriptions for days.

Late night horrible customer service/help/assistance.. its a zoo no matter the time of day or night.. day time better Customer service but grabbing 3 things will literally take an hour from parking to pulling out. At night less staff with major situational awareness issues.

Your deli department is the absolute worst. They cannot get it right. Time and time again Im given a pile of garbage they call "slices" of turkey or ham. For the last time, thin does not mean shaved. I will no longer shop there. Done.

This is a great grocery store, much more selection than average. Its very clean and there seems to be plenty of staff working. I wish I was closer, Id make it my number one grocery store.

Never had any problems here. Food is always fresh. Only once I got some bread that had expired before I bought it, brought it right back and they gave me no problems to switch

Has a wide selection, but needs some updating. Also you must carry your bags in the parking because it needs to be paved. The carts rattle the whole way to your car.

Great store just stay away from the deli dept.last night they labeled my ham wrong tried to charge me 7.99 for 3.99.tonite I asked to slice it then I got ham steaks

Shop Rite is a good place to go for savings on groceries and household products, but you have to be prepared for long lines at the register and crowded parking lot.

Its ok. Not as much variety as other newer Shoprites. The right side of the store is hot as heck. Poor positioning/layout of products and isles are too narrow.

The staff is great and the food court is very convienent! They make fresh meals for 8 or 9 dollars and a lot of the lunch meats were made in the store too.
