Absolutely terrible experience. They work with Home Depot (I dont blame Home Depot). I had set up a free estimate at Home Depot in regards to a generator. Im old fashioned and wanted to work with an individual to find out more but the representative that they sent to my home was miserable from the start (Jerry Satchell). On the phone he wanted to cancel my appointment simply because I didnt read all of the material that they had emailed me. What happen to presentations? He was late. Then as he came into my home he had a nasty look on his face. Acted as if I was bothering him. When I actually got fed up enough and asked him if I was bothering him he had the nerve to explain why. I asked him to leave my home. All because he didnt feel that he wasnt going to get a quick sale out of it. When I went to complain to the sales manager he was at least cordial but you could tell he did not care. He kept stepping over me in conversation and felt it was more important to get out what he needed to say as opposed to listening to an unhappy potential client. You would think that visiting homes would be an excellent opportunity to market your business to get future business even though I may not have purchased the generator right away. Im a new homeowner who has other electrical needs, will probably own different homes in the future, with family and friends who all have other electrical/generator needs. Not too smart in my opinion. Hopefully youll get someone else as a rep who has a bit more social etiquette. Be careful with these guys.

Horrible service! This is my first time giving a one star review and it is well deserved. I was directed to Corbin Electrical Services via Home Depot. I needed a large project done and was willing to pay for quality work. After Corbin received the lead from Home Depot, I got a call within the hour. Thats where being timely stopped. It took a week for someone from Corbin to come to my home for the assessment. After that I heard NOTHING. I waited. Then waited. Then waited some more. After two and a half weeks I called them. No return call. I called two more times only to be told that I would contacted later in the day. Nothing. Two days later I received a proposal via email asking for my signature to begin the work! Really? Poor customer service. No respect for a clients time. They must be doing really well to throw away business. I was ready to move forward but they were too far behind. After reading other reviews I;m glad it didnt work out. Do not call Corbin Electrical!! They have too many clients to be bothered with you. Two thumbs down.

Have used Corbin for past 7 years on general electrical maintenance; installing new outlets, installing attic fans, pool lighting etc ... A year after Sandy, we bought a standby generator from the Home Depot which was installed by Corbin. The Corbin sales rep was knowledgeable and carefully considered our back-up needs. She didnt try to sell us the highest priced unit but just the one to fit our needs which I appreciated. Installation of the unit including the wiring and new breaker box was done well with a thorough walkthrough of the features of the unit and how it would work in loss of power situations. Ive also been subscribing to their yearly generator maintenance program as well. The maintenance program can seem a bit pricy but you get what you pay for in terms of complete semi-annual checkups which, for me, is well worth it for peace of mind. Will continue to use Corbin for my electrical needs and would definitely recommend to anyone as well.

Wow, Im obviously in the minority here. Was not happy at all with service. Bought a Generac whole home generator last May. The final electrical inspection just happened yesterday, over a year it took. They also used a flex house in a place where another authorized Generac tech told me it violates the warranty. Says it right on sticker. They were also supposed to correct 2 electrical issues. Tech told inspector that its not his work, so not his responsibility, so it did pass but it still needs to be fixed (thats why their tech came an hour before inspector). Then on top, they wanted me to pay $300 for the tech to sit around and wait, while the contract never stated it. They even used a non Generac cement pad which has already cracked and crumbled. (You PAY for a Generac Pad)

I just used Corbin Electric to do the outside lighting on my Patio. What a mistake! They were supposed to come back and backfill the trench and only did half the job. Unfortunaltly I made the mistake on paying them upfront and when I called and spoke to the manager Mark his attitude was "oh WELL" i WILL neveR USE THEM OR RECOMMEND THEM AGAIN. In fact I recommended them to a client and we just cancelled the job since she is not looking for a bad experience either. They also added charges to the estimate that were supposed to be included. They are terrible and I strongly urge you to not use them. I am going with Precision Tech Electric in the future since they seem to have more integrity!

I have used Corbin Electric for more than 15 years and can tell you they are a very reliable company. They have done everything from basic repairs and updating and replacing entire electrical panels to installing a new generator system. All of the employees are professional and show that they care about the work they are doing. When ever I have had an emergency situation, even on the weekends, Corbin has always responded quickly and fix the issues that same day. I highly recommend them for all your electrical needs.

If there is an extended power outage we can keep our household running and provide emergency services to friends and family. Corbin regularly schedules the maintenance and is always punctual about providing the service. Their prices are fair, especially concerning the peace of mind they provide.

Great work! They replaced a ceiling fan for me on a 13 high vaulted ceiling. They were quick, efficient and clean. Corbin sent two guys to my house, Chris and someone else. They were booties over their shoes and cleaned afterwards which is always an oversight for contractors as ive noticed. The install was perfect and they were in and out in about an hour. I will definitely use them again and recommend them for anyone else.

The scheduling process was seamless (despite our rescheduling). Kevin, the generator mechanic was most impressive and gave us confidence that the job was in capable hands. I recently had Corbin Electric service my 2 AC systems and was happy with the quality of work that was provided. Greg was explanatory and helpful, and I was able to learn some things about how to program the system and will definitely use them for all my future heating and cooling needs.They had installed the Generac generator system 2 yrs back and the service maintenance with them had always been great.
