Club Metro in Marlton is a very good gym! They have plenty of free weights, a movie room with cardio equpt, plenty of machines, plenty of cardio equpt in the front of the gym and a big room for classes. The staff is friendly and helfpul and the personal training staff is very good as well. My girlfriend tained with Jerome and he was fantastic! He was hightly motivated, very knowledgeable, and a very nice person. I have been to many gyms and I found Club Metro to be the best for what im looking for. I usually keep to myself but the members there are very friendly and always say hello even if they dont know you! The only think that I have noticed on the "not so good" side is that some of the cardio machines need some work. The headphone jacks dont work on a lot of them and when you put them on the TV mode some of the pictures are scrambled and unwatchable. Aside from those trivial issues I would recomend this gym over the others in the area. The price point is also diverse. From what I know, it can run from about 20 a month (basic membership and includes access to all club metro gyms) to around 40 a month (includes unlimited classes, and unlimited tanning). Personally, I do the basic membership which is perfect for me, but my girlfriend does the classes and tanning. She enjoys all the classes she has taken,and likes the instructors.

STAY AWAY - Plenty of gyms around the area, with pools, and classes are reasonable times. This place has hidden fees they do not tell you about, High upfront costs. They have a list of classes available to you, but those classes are during the day! I came during the day, NO one comes to those classes, it’s a scam to create an illusion of them providing you with a lot, when they are only giving you so little. Right down the road there are 2-3 other gyms. Take a look becoming committing to anything with this gym.

Couldnt be happier with my membership! I left plant fitness to join metro back in May. This gym is really nice, has a great staff and is extremely clean, which I love! Its complimentary 2 hour parking is also a bonus! I really like their perks program, since it motivates people to actually get up and go to gym to earn free stuff (better than getting free pizza & bagels! LOL). This gym truly embodies fitness and living a healthy lifestyle, something thats hard to find in this area.

This gym locks you into a one-year contract. But good luck canceling it. I had to write a letter and send it in certified mail. And still they continued charging me. When I called in they claimed they never received the letter and told me I would need to tell them to the registration number on the certified letter in order to cancel it. Now my only option is to go through the credit card company to get my money back. My advice: Stay far, far away.

What a joke of a business. Staff isnt nice, helpful, or professional. All they do is complain about their jobs and bosses in front of Clients. Have a signed contract saying I could cancel if I moved and a signed cancellation paper from the gym and not only have they continued to charge me--but theyve sent my account to a collections agency.

Love it. No pressure, and thats coming from someone who has never walked into a gym in there life. Everyone is in there worrying about themselves. No groups of people judging, most of the time everyone is just in there putting in work. GREAT PLACE!
