Like any good consumer, I decided to give Professional Hair Design a chance, since I had never had my hair done there before. It turned out to be one of the worst haircut experiences Ive ever had. As I entered the salon, I kindly spoke to the receptionist, who gave me the look of "why are you even here?" Apart from the rude receptionist, I was attended by a gentleman who did not have a desire to speak with you at all. I tried chatting with him, just to be friendly. He said "yea" in a crude manner and ignored me. Apart from this, I did not like the hair cut either. He rushed as if there were customers lining out of the door. There were no customers in the salon since the roads were snowy. He rushed the scissors and left me rather dirty. After a fast haircut, which didnt turn out nice, he rushed me out of the chair in a rude manner. Honestly, this was by far the worst service Ive ever had in ANY salon/barber shop. In my opinion, it was a terrible $15 spent. Id recommend to whoever owns the place to get a new barber and a new receptionist girl.

just had my hair cut for the first time in 6 years & 3 months! it was very long & in need of a cut & style. kim was the stylist i had and she couldnt have been more helpful! she took the time to work with me to find a style that would look good on me & meet my needs. i told her i didnt want to do too much maintenance or blow drying to keep up the style. she showed me lots of styles on her phone to use as a starting point. she was professional, friendly & the end result speaks volumes! i love my new haircut & will go back to kim again! i highly recommend kim for anyone looking to get their hair cut! great first time experience with professional hair design! i will tell my friends & family about my very good experience with this business!

I took my sons there the day after Christmas because our regular place was closed and I figured it couldnt be that hard to give a regular boys haircut. I was wrong. We got a woman who they told my son was named Kim- she apparently had a friend of hers there to hang out with. The other woman sat in an adjacent chair while Kim talked and talked with her- half the time looking at her and not my sons hair. Worst haircuts I have ever gotten for them. They were both really upset. Nothing was even. I dont know if she doesnt know how to cut hair or just wasnt paying attention. Either way- I wont go back. The one star is only because she didnt actually injure them except psychologically

I was recommended to come here about four years ago. Before coming to this salon, it was so frustrating having to jump from salon to salon trying to find the perfect hair stylist to give me the perfect color blonde highlights at a reasonable price. I came here and met with Corinne and she gave me exactly what I wanted, and have been a client of hers ever since! All the other stylists are amazing also as I have seen there work as well. If you are going through what I went through four years ago, come here and you will not regret!!!!! Staff is excellent , so friendly, makes you feel at home and I cannot say enough good things about this place!!!!

Ive been going to Professional Hair Design for over 5 years and will not trust anyone else with my hair. Even since moving to Philly, I continue going there because of the service and amazing results. Its hard to find a great stylist who is truly skilled and takes the time and care to satisfy their clients. I never have to worry when I get in the chair, my stylist always knows just what to do to make my hair perfect. I have always gone to Corrine, but after several years of going to this salon have witnessed the talents of the other stylists as well. I would not hesitate to recommend anyone to go to this salon. Five stars all the way!!!!

The staff at Professional Hair Design is great. I have been going there to get my hair cut and colored for about 2 years. As a mom of 2 young children it is often hard to find time to make a hair appointment. I usually call a day in advance and am able to be accommodated. I even brought my huge double stroller in once since my sitter couldnt come right away to watch the girls. My hair always turns out great. I also get my daughters hair cut on the childrens side. The special chairs and the televisions make it a little more relaxing for the kids. I would and do recommend professional hair design to everyone.

I was having a bad day and I bleached my hair listening to sally beauty employees. I called and spoke with Kim and she suggested I came in. I came in to see Kim and she got to work.I never in my life have felt so important. I can not than them enough here! The employees were all so nice and helpful. Kim is the God of hair design. I was in tears when I left. My hair has never looked so amazing. I will always come back!!!! Kim, thank you a million times over and over! You really made my day brighter! I posted a before picture, a picture in the process and a picture after. I feel brand new!!!

Im not too sure who could write ANYTHING negative about this place. The prices are amazing!!! The staff... Out of this world. I was getting my hair foiled, my twin boy toddlers entered the salon and were allowed to sit in the Kidz section of the salon. I personally has been with Corrine for over ten years and has followed her from her other salon. I drive from Cape May Court House just to get my hair done. Yup, 45 minute drive. And, when Corrine is not there, I fully trust others to do my hair. So, if youve ever had a bad experience, you are in the minority!!!! Love you guys!!!!!!

Ive never been a return customer to a salon until I came here 5 years ago. The prices are perfect. Additionally, as a mother of 4 its difficult to schedule anything and they always work with me for appointment times. On top of that, I have never found anyone else who cares about the health of my hair. I do some funky colors at times and regardless of whether Im doing something wild or a cut and simple color, I know Im always going to walk out that door feeling and looking amazing, not worried about brittle or overworked ends. I would never consider going anywhere else.

My hair is one of the most important features of expression and I dont lend it out easily. I have searched for years to find the one hairstylist that suits me. I am alway happy and I actually drive 40 minutes to get there. Not only am I happy with the cut and color , Its reasonably priced also. And everyone in the salon is very professional and nice. Some of the other reviews say otherwise, but I have been coming here for years and have never noticed anything off key. Oh and my hairstylist is Jaymee.
