This is a difficult review to write for two reasons. The first is because I am so busy enjoying my incredible “new” home that I hate to take the time to do anything else. The second is I truly hope I express myself well enough to give Dominick the best review that he has ever gotten – only fair since he has given our family a space better than we could have imagined. I met with several contractors over a year’s time and there was always something that I just wasn’t comfortable with. Not so with Dominick. From our initial meeting and throughout the entire process, Dominick has been a top-notch professional, embracing our vision as if it were his own; seriously, he was more particular than I would have been in several instances. He and his crew are skilled and proficient, and even when we ran into some large and some small old house issues, they were not phased, not delayed, and our daily lives were disrupted far less than I anticipated. The result of their outstanding work ethic turned a long-awaited project into a new lifestyle for our family. To say that I would recommend Dominick and D&J Construction is an understatement. After this extraordinary experience, I am not exaggerating when I say I would not want to work with anyone else and am more than happy to speak with anyone considering hiring D&J. Thank you sounds so small compared to the large impact Dominick, Gilbert and Jeff have had on our lives, but we are thankful for their hard work and dedication to their craft. We are blessed and filled with joy in our “new” home.

I needed someone to repair an area of cement plaster on the exterior my home that was cracked. Dominick made time to come by my house and examine the damage. His quote to do the work was reasonable. He and his team did an excellent job repairing the cement plaster problem. I wasnt home during the repair, so Dominick called and advise me of the extent of damage discovered after removing the loose plaster. He texted me pictures of the damaged area after removing the loose plaster and also after completing the work. During the work, his team discovered an ant infestation under the loose plaster and they took action to eliminate the ants. They also took care of other areas that, if left untreated, would eventually deteriorate into bigger issue. Dominick is very knowledgeable and has a great personality. I will definitely use them again for future projects.

I first contacted D & J to do some masonry work involving closing up a crawl space so that some new water pipes wouldnt freeze in the winter. The result was terrific and Dominick saw that I need some framing done for a kitchen renovation and let me know that it was also something he could do for me. After providing me an extremely detailed and fair estimate, he got to work. A week later, all of the rough carpentry was done and everything looked terrific. He is flexible, honest, detail-oriented, and does fabulous work. Its nice to deal with a contractor who is so easy to communicate with and I would highly recommend D & J to anyone seeking quality work at a fair price.

FINALLY!! I found a contractor that is reliable and knowledgable !!!!!!! I am so pleased with this company D & J CONSTRUCTION!!! Dominick is a true professional and my experience from beginning to end was such a pleasure! I hired him to do some projects in my home and part of it was to redo my kitchen and he actually constructed an extra storage space for me ! Just amazing! Dominick took our house down to the studs and basically rebuilt it. It went from the ugliest house on the block to one of the nicest one. There was no challenge too big for Dominick to handle and there were many challenges!!! Dominick always made us feel that everything was going to alright. Our neighbors still give us compliments on the house almost 7 years later.Since then we have used Dominick on smaller remodeling jobs on the inside of our house with the same results. No matter what size your job is you can be assured it will be done to your Ultimate satisfaction. Guaranteed!!!.

We cannot thank Dominick enough for the wonderful job he did at our childhood home. We had hired an old friend who has been in the construction business for nearly 30 years, but had to terminate our contract with him because he rarely showed up. Dominick has does many things in my house since I bought it 4 years ago. He put up my vinyl fence, put a concrete patio in my backyard, sided my shed. Most recently he installed a storm and a front door and put up new attic stairs. He is beyond wonderful- there is no job too big or small. Dominick is friendly, reliable, honest and I am always pleased with his work. If you have a question he will call you right back. I would never think of using anyone but Dominick.
