I am now on my third project with Dickson Development in two years. They continue to earn my top marks for professionalism, high quality work and an engagement style that makes its easy to do business with them. Work done has included: three bathroom remodels, building of custom closets in master bedroom, and remodeling of an office/study with custom built in bookcases. Current work includes the rebuilding of a front entranceway, laying a new tile floor and custom sponge painting on an upstairs bedroom. Dicksons approach is grounded in solid planning. Richard Dickson, owner, is an active participant in all aspects of planning, project management, scheduling, quality measurement and ultimately customer satisfaction. He has very competent mangers that run the projects (they have never disappeared on a job!), his teams treat my home as I expect - they are neat, they protect all that must be protected on a job and they clean up every day. I have no hesitation or reservations in recommending Dickson Development - they are good people who do very good work and I trust them.

We hired Dickson Development for a major home project in Fall 2016. It was a complicated project with many moving pieces involved. We thought Richards proposal was well priced and competitive but in addition we were impressed with their approach to handling some of the more complicated issues involved, such as HVAC. Most importantly, we were new to home addition projects and wanted a contractor we could trust and who would guide us through it. While it was a little bit of a leap of faith, they proved true to their word and delivered our project on time and within budget. While there were many decisions for us to make throughout the project, Richard and his fantastic team were there every step of the way. We are very pleased with their work and we know theyll stand behind it. We would happily use them again!

Dickson Development Corporation developed an addition to my house in Princeton consisting of a foundation with basement-level finished room and second kitchen on the main level. The overall quality of the work was strong and has proven, five years later, to be durable and sound. Richards guidance throughout the plan and build process was valuable. For example, he noticed a structural oversight in plans developed by an outside architect. Richard and his team are responsive and flexible. Importantly, Richards pricing was fair and competitive and he honored his initial bid. Change orders were handled professionally and flexibly -- if slightly expensively. But overall I was and continue to be satisfied with DDCs work and I recommend the company to neighbors. I wouldnt hesitate to hire DDC a second time.

Dickson has just completed an addition to our home, and we could not be happier. Richard and all of the members of his team are real professionals who take great pride in their work. Their design/build approach made the entire process seamless. The carpenter and GM, Thom, is a skilled craftsman and was so easy to work with on a day-to-day basis. One thing we really appreciated was the communications. Richard kept us up to date on every stage of the project -- his regular emails let us know what was going to be happening each week, and he met with us regularly to discuss progress and next steps. Dickson completed the work on time and on budget, but, best of all, they built an absolutely amazing sun room for us that we just love.

In addition, they have performed many other smaller repairs and on my home to prepare for sale such as windows and painting. This company does truly excellent work. They are easy to deal with.
