Requested pricing for a pantry to be installed in my home two weeks ago, as well as future fencing/decking pricing. I am still waiting for my estimate. Called the company yesterday, and the woman said she would email Dominic (salesman) and that we would have our estimate the same day. No response, so we called again in the afternoon. The woman again said that she would email the salesman and make sure wed receive a personal phone call. Well we have yet to receive any phone call from this company, or yet any estimate we have requested. Maybe instead of emailing an employee, that a simple phone call would be a much better solution. I was told this is the #1 general contractor in NJ. Well it seems that your customer service is lacking, and very unprofessional. Update: After being asked to remove or update this review by the owner of the company, Joe Percario, here is our revision. After posting this original review, we were contacted to have another meeting with the owner, to go over our quote. Within seconds of his arrival, I was confronted if I was the writer of this review, and why it was posted, quoting "One bad review = 10 lost jobs for me." Then describing the job AGAIN, he suggested "installing a walk-in pantry, since we are cutting into the garage, for more room and storage, since your husband can eat a lot." To him this was a comical remark, although I myself was in absolute shock and awe of what he just said to my face. Finished the rest of the walk through, and continued into the dining room where he proceeded to finally put together our quote. In describing the quote, he suggested that "we install a heavy duty pull down staircase in the garage, that way it wont collapse while youre standing on it, or you could always go on a diet." If this is the manor that this man conducts his work, I am very surprised that he has been in business for so long. I am absolutely disgusted at this individual, and if I had not been in shock at the event, he would have been kicked immediately out of my house. I have never been so disrespected in my own home! You should be at your utmost respect while talking with a customer you would like to do business with, not degrade them in their own home. To all future customers, please beware of the individual that will be working on your home.

Horrible experience... Front the very beginng to the bitter end..and at each turn of the remodel there were problems! Started with a bad estimate, then there was the "un-explained" 6-week delay in the job (shut down for not having proper permits - per Joes workers), and then there were the disgusting subcontractors that left a mess and used my MY PERSONAL BATHROOM! Clearly, the contractors dont respect Joe Percarioss business.. After the use of the bathroom was reported....the jerks used the bathroom again and this time they didnt flush!!! (NO, Im not kidding!!!!). As the project drags to a close, its clear that Joe Pecario has employees that know a little something about their craft but not a "freaking" thing about TEAMWORK or CUSTOMER SEVICE. (Joe keep him away from the customer - you know who Im talking about). On a positive note, the general manager stepped in and provided some customer serivice and monitored the project... But theres not much you can do to balance this chaos . Overall, in good consciousness I would not recommend Joe Percario But if youre up for the challenge. 1) hire your own arch architect (their plans are 1930s outdated) 2) request construction manager to visit the site before you sign anything (sales person =clueless) 3) Avoid their blame game - demand A "single" point person 4) know the payment schedule is complete fabrication- created by the sales person 5) dont trust any phrase that sounds like ... "dont worry well take care of it" especially when theres 3 people trying to manage the same damn job-- all of them will get amnesia (3 headed amnesia is the worst). 6) establish dates to have customer supplied materials - notoriously asked for items without the proper lead time (not getting the door I want because they didnt provide the necessay 3-4 lead time to order a front door). 7) good luck

We had some major construction performed and WOW it came out fantastic. It was such a pleasure to work with all the contractors and workers. Dave Hackney and Adam Friedstein supervised the crew and made sure everything was exactly what we asked for. First, we had our porch roof replaced along with a new attic fan and three bathroom vents that John Lee supervised and you couldnt have asked for a better person to work with. Then, we had two bathrooms redone with new shower tiles and floor tiles & counter tops. Next, they replaced our home siding and we couldnt be happier with how the home looks. New gutters, garage doors and (9) interior doors were installed. I believe John was the contractor for the interior doors and window and very talented. Yes, there were quite a few issues but Dave & Adam made sure everything was taken care of. The last issue is being resolved; the window we asked for was incorrect and they will be replacing the window. We couldnt have selected a better company to work with. They always notified us the days they were coming and they always communicated what was occurring. I can highly recommend Joe Percario. Thanks guys for everything!!

Worst company I have ever dealt with in my life. No communication what so ever from these people. They arrived late the first meeting. The second meeting I took off from work so we were to go over the estimate. But the rep called to cancel that morning for a "family emergency". There was no follow up call from him after that. I then called after a couple of days and got the run around that "the power was out" in their building and he was unable to go over my estimate. I told him no problem...just to email it to me when the power came back on. I guess they still dont have power a week later because I still dont have an estimate or any phone call. I called a third time and he said he faxed the estimate to my insurance agent...Not true; my agent has not received any calls or faxes from Percario. I called the main office to see what the status was where I talked to a manager. He ensured me he would get right back to me after he spoke with the rep. No call back received. How do companies like this even stay in business? Hey, thanks for wasting my time Percario. "Do I know Joe?" Yeah...Joe is a no-show!

If I could give this company negative stars I would in a heart beat. We contracted them to redo 2 of our bathrooms and the sales guy put us at ease. Everything went quickly downhill from there. The project manager they assigned us didnt bother to truly listen to any of our requests and then kept arguing with us that we were the ones who didnt remember correctly. After about 4 or 5 of those arguments I kicked him out of my house. They also charged us an extra $4K for additions which we had told them about in the beginning but they basically had us cornered since they were half way through the job at that point. We then got another project manager who was much nicer but things still went wrong again and again. The guy who they contracted to do our tiling was horrible. All the grout has completely cracked in two bathrooms. And today the cracks led to leaks in our basement. They swept all the debris into the subfloor which eventually collapsed part of our basement ceiling. PLEASE STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
