I contacted Huber Locksmiths last week, just before Christmas to have some locks re-keyed on my vacation home. I spoke to Jose, who was very accommodating and nice. He set up an appointment for the following Monday and gave me a window of time. A locksmith, I believe his name is Mike, showed up on time. When I had arrived to the home, which is undergoing repairs due to Sandy, I discovered that a doorknob on the house was missing, and a new storage unit under the house needed a doorknob and deadbolt installed. I mentioned this situation to Mike, and he said no problem, we can do this as well. Within an hour Mike had all the locks re-key and new doorknobs and deadbolt installed. He was very good and very professional. I highly recommend Huber.

The person who answered the phone was immediately rude right off the bat. After getting my information and calling me back, they said they wouldnt be able to come to my facility for two days and honestly acted like it was a problem they never done business with us before. Overall the sale associate answering the phone wasnt very pleasant and I will most likely not be calling them in the future.

Ive no problem paying a premium for service. I pay money for labor, I get that. These guys do good work. Their up charges are ridiculous. Their quote for deadbolts installation included hardware costs for standard lever locks that were approximately double what I can purchase such for online.
