<3 This review is coming from a very, very happy WOMAN who got the cut of her dreams <3 First off, a background. I have wanted to shave my hair for many YEARS, looong BEFORE Amber Rose. I finally retired fr the working world recently and felt this was that time. Altho Im 50 yo, Im always mistaken to be in my 30s; my overall aesthetic is artistic and urban. So, I get to the shop and the line is wicked long. Hardly a place to sit in. A good sign. As I sat there watching these cuts being done on customers ranging in age fr 7 yrs old to 60+, WOWWW, I saw why this little hole in the wall shop.has 200+ reviews AND 5 STARS. The attention to detail, precision, artistry and care of every barber with the client was INCREDIBLE. Absolutely, totally impressive. But what got me? Seeing a grown man give a fade cut to tiny tyke as with, I dare say, so much love! Yes, love! Its as if the cut was for some head of state!!! There was NO rushing, just pure focus to that little person in the chair!! Now I knew for sure THIS was the place for me. Finally, Roberto takes me, warm and comforting. I show him the picture I had, he asked a couple of questions to make sure and then, with full confidence said,."I gotcha. I know what you want." MADRE MIA, PERFECTO!!! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT! And he breezed thru it while we shared lives. And the icing on the cake? I took 5 steps out of the shop and San from 500 yards away yells out, "GORGEOUS!!! JUST GORGEOUS!!!" He is so taken by the cut he runs over to me excitedly complimenting me on my cut! I KID YOU NOT. Can you imagine ALL of the above and I paid what youd pay for the run of the mill salon franchises???!! This place is a gift from God. Period. I am so grateful. This is THE BEST, BEST BARBER SHOP IN ALL OF NJ.

Excellent service, great workers, welcoming and very friendly atmosphere to all ages. Staff speaks both Spanish and English. Always upbeat music playing to keep you from feeling bored while waiting. The barbers do a terrific job and never slack with the minute details. Overall great experience. Servicio excelente, los barberos son atentos y son hábil con las tijeras. No olvidaban los detalles pequeños cuando ellos corte tu pelo, su trabajo es muy bien. Recomiendo por todos.

Great place with competitive prices. Ive been a loyal patron of Next Level 2 on Davenport st in Somerville for many years. I ended up coming here because they were open earlier and I didnt have time to wait around. Upon entering the shop the first thing I noticed is how clean it was. They have a nice seating area for coutomers who are waiting for a cut, and they had some nice Spanish music playing through the speakers. I sat down, the barber asked what I wanted done, and he got to work. He took his time, and was miticulous. Especially with the straight razor. I felt as if he went over the top to make sure I was comfortable and got Exactly what I wanted. At the end of the day, I was extremely satisfied. Although Im not going to stop going to my barber (whos been cutting me for 10+ years) any time soon, I plan on going back to the patio maybe every other time I get my hair cut just because they were nice, clean, and gave me a sharp haircut for a good price.

Fantastic Experience! Glad I found this place. I tried this place out a few months ago based on a friends recommendation. I came in with an open mind not having really ever been to a barber shop before. It was mid-winter and my beard was in rough shape needing a good trim. Initially when I walked in I was worried that I wouldnt get a style that would suit me since it was a Hispanic style establishment, with Spanish music and the barbers speaking mainly in Spanish to each other. But like I said I had an open mind and was greeted and made very comfortable by Roberto who spoke to me about what I was looking for. He proceeded to cut my hair, give me a hot towel shave that nearly put me to sleep, and offered me a cold beverage in meantime. It was probably the best haircut experience Ive had and always come here before I want to look my best. In fact Im on my way there now before Valentines Day Dinner.

Yeah they can cut hair Ill give them that, but they dont listen to their customer. I showed one of the barbers there a picture of the haircut I wanted. The barber looked at the picture for TWO SECONDS. I tried to explain the haircut to him because its not just a simple haircut that guys usually get in a barbershop but he just told me to sit so he can give me the haircut that I showed him. I asked him if he needed the picture up on my phone so he could properly copy the haircut but he said no. Once he finished I was really disappointed. I did not get the haircut that I wanted because he was rushing and wouldnt listen to me. Dont go to this barbershop especially when theres a lot of customers because they would just rush your haircut so they could move on to the next customer. Its also expensive as hell since I usually get my haircut for $13-15 from other barbershop.

New Latin Barber Shop..Actually called "El Patio". They cut hair great, Latin Music played in a pretty loud fashion. Busy, usually. It brings a new touch to the area, and serves a large latin community, in which many businesses do not offer for a community made up of so many latins. Great for kids and Adults alike. A much needed service and business serving all types of people. Emphasis on Latin..but all are welcome, for they provide great service to all peole, Latin or not. It is a Barber shop up with the times..FREE WIFI..UNISEX RESTOOM....READING MATERIAL, and innovative. Totally a Modern place for Modern Haircuts...styles of today..and if you want..yesterdays styles too! Competative pricing for the many services they offer. A must Try for anyone..no matter ethnicity or race.

Have been to a lot of barbershops around the area, and by far this has been the best! Great first experience. Very friendly and caring group of guys. Let me tell you something, I grew up in Union county, Elizabeth area, where you can find a good barbershop on every corner. When I moved to Bridgewater, I tried every barbershop around and time after time I was left disappointed with my experience, so finally I decided to drive all the way to Elizabeth every time I need a cut. Then, the patio opened up, and FINALLY I was able to get a great haircut locally! This place is amazing. Every hair cut I get comes complete with a hot towel razor shave, thats something I never even got in Elizabeth! I have been coming here since they opened and will never go anywhere else. They set the bar high, and nothing comes even close in this area

The Patio is like my second home cutting hair for them is like second nature. Im satisfied with my haircut everytime i come. Ive seen a lot of people come that dont speak spanish and have a great experience. The guys speak both english and spanish. You shouldnt feel humiliated to get a haircut because the tv is in spanish. The boss always give permission to change the channel to your convienence to all clientes. Honestly man its a great barbershop thy can cut hair if you gotta a problem dont say anything bro. These guys work really hard and its embarrassing to see someone that had an experience like that. @jeffdanco
