Ive been going to Salon Concrete for years, and I absolutely adore everyone there. Ive had my hair cut by Mallory, Leanne, and Holly and colored by Dana and Sassy; all of them work together to give you a really great cut and color. If youre a fan of fun colors and styles, theyre fantastic at making a very cool statement without it looking costume-y. If not, they are equally as well versed in classic and classy cuts and colors. I had something that came out not exactly as imagined, and immediately they offered to fix it if I had a problem with it. Theyre accommodating, kind, and really fun artsy people. I definitely recommend them!

Ive been going to Salon Concrete for about 3 years now and I have been very pleased. I do find it expensive but Ive paid less for crappy haircuts so I think you get what you pay for! They really take the time to make sure everything is perfect. No stray hairs or crooked cuts. My cut is always very stylish and looks great even after it starts to grow out. Makes me feel like a movie star :) In the past I had gone to any salon and any stylist and didnt care because my hair always came out eh. But, Ive been going to Melanka now and she does a great job every time. Love my cut! I dont color my hair so I cant comment on that.

I have to agree with the other posters that if you have a color problem and even though they are at fault; be prepared for an embarrassing situation where they make you feel like you should accept what they did as the best they can do with your hair. They try to get out of fixing it. Mine was actually fixed but I went through some needless issues trying to get it done. And even the owner did not step up to the plate and make it right at first; finally they fixed it but it wasnt pleasant by a long shot.

Very professional, clean . Corteous staff. I Like their product Davines. I like how Rebecca takes care of my color need. She takes the time to do a perfect job. I like the head massage the best ( I suffer of migraine headaches and their massages are so relieving ) I would like a hair cut by the owner... Christine, but the price is too high for my budget. I think the owner has done a wholesome job to establish a good and professional reputation ! Hurray for salon concrete in RB - the Montecarlo of NJ!!!

I was handed out a "20$ off your next service" card while in Red Bank, and thought it was perfect because I needed a haircut anyways. I called to make an appointment and was told that because the stylist who handed me the card "didnt do cuts" that I couldnt use the offer. The card specifically says "offer valid toward any service over $65". Needless to say, they lost my business without me even walking into the salon. If youre going to hand out offers on the street, at least honor what it says!

Do NOT go to this salon for color. They burned my scalp - she left bleach on too long and it was a nightmare. I could not even wash my hair because it felt like my scalp was on fire. I called them to explain the situation and try to get my money back but they did not seem to care and told me it was not their policy to give refunds. I even had pictures of my scalp to show them how bad it was. I was extremely disappointed with how they reacted to my issue and will obviously never go back there.

Every time I walked out my color and cut were different -- not in a good way. Customer Service is non-existent. If you have a color problem the stylists dont care and dont help you solve the problem. If a stylist goes on vacation (or maternity leave) there is no coverage so you might not get an appointment for weeks (even if you are a steady customer).

Mallory gave me one of the best haircuts I have ever had. I have long, thick straight hair that is unforgiving and Mallory layered it beautifully. Fantastic salon and everyone was incredibly friendly. I just moved from the city and I am so happy to have found an amazing local salon!

i love this salon and new location! the stylists are very low key and open to what you want, but still discuss different options that would work with your hair. i was worried about doing color, but she did an awesome job and everyone says it looks great! definitely go!
