The repair was estimated to be completed in about 2 weeks. Its been 5 weeks and I still do not have my car. I had gotten into an accident on April 26th, 2011 and my car was towed to G & E Auto Body, which I believe was the closest repair shop to the scene of the accident. I was not at-fault in the accident, so my insurance company is paying for the repairs. They estimated the cost as well as the time it would normally take for the repairs to be completed. The repairs began the first week of May. I was given a two week estimate for the completion of the repairs. After two weeks, I called G & E Auto Body to learn about the status of my vehicles repairs. They told me something along the lines of "the radiator connection needs a part" and that the car would be repaired within about 2 days. After two days, I called them again and this time they said something about the electrical systems of the car. A few days later, I called again and this time I couldnt reach the guy who was responsible for the repairs. I called almost every business day for the past 2 weeks and this repair technician (I believe his name is "Richie") would always be out of the repair shop, "delivering a customers car." I finally got a hold of him last Wednesday (June 8th, 2011) and he said it would be repaired on Friday (June 10th, 2011). I called on Friday to learn that the car is still not ready and they told me that they would call me when its ready (hinting that I should not call them again!!!). Frustrated, I called them today (June 13th, 2011) and they told me that they are testing a few things with the car and that they will call me this evening. I still have not received a call or my car and I am extremely frustrated with the terrible customer service this company provides. I feel like they are making up excuses to stall the repair process and not being honest with me. I am in urgent need of my car which I have been telling them this for the past 3 weeks. Now we are into the 5th week of repairs which were estimated to be completed in 2 weeks. I am very disappointed and upset with the irresponsible management of G & E Auto Body. They have not even given me any courtesy calls to inform me that the repairs would take this long. It was always me who had to call them and when they said they would call me back, I never got a call back from them. BEWARE of this shop!

Well my sons vehicle was taken there after an accident approximately 3 weeks ago. He was giving a fair quote for repairs and also was told the car would be done within a week. So far its been 3 weeks and its been nothing but the god old run around. My wife went there with him because my son just turned 18 and I dont know if this Ritchie guy even exists! Im beginning to believe theres been more sightings of bigfoot than this man Absolutely horrible service and I could accept that if there was better communication with his customers. Im going to go meet these today and get the real story. If im not satisfied im going to demand the deposit back and take the vehicle somewhere that is honest and prompt. I do not believe in begging people to take my money! I refuse to wait in line at a restaurant because again im not going to beg someone to take my money. There are business classes available and maybe this half arse company should look into attending few. This will be the last time me or my friends or family will ever go there. As far as "free" coffee goes, ill buy my own for $1.00 and just fix the freakin car!!!!

DO NOT GO HERE. I was in an accident on Friday. We were told they would have someone look at it that afternoon and let us know if the car could be fixed. Called them Saturday - the technician wasnt in, hed look at it Monday. Called Monday, technician wasnt in. Called Tuesday - finally got somewhere. We went back on Wednesday to get the plates and my belongings from the car. They tried making us pay a storage fee ($35/day) for the time wasted waiting for THEM to look at the car or forfeit getting any money from junking my car. ALSO, they made us pay for the towing services, despite having AAA. Absolutely absurd. They are your typical mechanics. Say theyll do something in a specified amount of time, then make you wait twice as long for any results. I will be reporting them to AAA and the Better Business Bureau. Avoid this place like the plague.

Got into an accident made me tow my car there. Ok. fine. Insurance said they wanted to do it at a PACE facility so i had to get it released. Did that. They closed early that day and charged me a storage fee even they they were closed... The next day I called and argued they didnt budge and the dispatcher charlie was extremely rude. I tried getting it towed that day he charged me for 2 storage fee days. I was angry as hell. Again argued they just hung up. I asked when they were open until. They said five. My tow truck guy got there around 330 and they were closing. He was still able to get it out of the yard but G and E consistently lied to me. Whatever you do. Dont get your car towed here. Ever. They do terrible work from what I have seen as well.

I would never take my car there again they had my car for over three weeks never put pinstripe back on damaged side never put hood emblem back my abs light is still on my seatbelt is a different color my headlights face the street I cannot even see at night. I wish someone will see this and maybe thy will contact me n fix its not go there. I was good friends with Richie but he did me wrong

Got into an accident, G&E auto sent over their tow truck driver, the guy was a total jerk, first time Ive ever been in an accident so i was asking him a few questions and he was a total jerk to me, thats the last thing i need after what Ive been through... AAA is affiliated w them, called AAA and told them also....never want to do business w G&E auto...

I would highly recommend this auto body shop. Ritchie is thoroughly honest and professional. My rear bumper paint job didnt get done very well the first time due it being really cold in the winter, I called them back in summer and they kept their promise and fixed it really well. I appreciate their service, hard work and honesty! Thumbs Up!

Had the Worst experience! Picked up the car to find it had No Horn! Signal light bulbs had not been reinstalled! Too many issues to list here. When I attempted to contact Richie he completely ignored or evaded me by phone and email.

Very responsive, they were able to take care of repairs quickly and with no hidden charges. Everything was explained up front and no surprises in the end. The even offered to drive me to and from work. Cant beat it.

Been going to G&E for years. Their work is great, it may take a little longer to get your car done then what they tell you. Their excellent service is worth the wait. Have sent may friends and family to them.
