My son goes here when he is home from college, and took me with him recently since we were shopping afterwards. He received a great cut from Nicollete. She listened to him and suggest what will work to make him happy with his haircut. Good customer service by all employees. They are focused on their clients haircuts. In my opinion they need to step it up... offer customers something to drink/snack when they arrive, keep the place CLEAN at all times - its very dusty everywhere, the throw rug has never seen a vacuum, the hardwood floors are nice but they go unnoticed because it needs to be swept all day, everyday and mopped at least once a day, all the barbers shake the cover-up that goes on each client instead of getting a clean one... how can you not get a clean one? Sorry that is gross. Makes me wonder what else is not clean. One of the barbers keeps his area very clean, and all his equipment. If all barbers, especially the owner took a note from him the place would be a 5 star barber shop. The owner should take more responsibility/ownership/pride in his business!!

This place is simply an EXPERIENCE and you just dont see these kinds of barber shops often anymore! Adam, Kevin and Andre are the real deal. I found this place in an issue of Means Health magazine and have been going there for the past year. My cuts ALWAYS come out the way I want it and Ive never been disappointed. The price is VERY reasonable for how these guys treat you. The place is clean, eclectic, and all around a great place for a guy to get away for an hour or so to just relax. They offer some great drinks while you wait (or even while youre taken care of). I personally have not done this but I think Ill treat myself the next time I go. If I have to find a negative about this place...it would be that I have to drive about 30 minutes to Virile. Its so worth it though. Treat yourself to a Two Bit the next time youre around!

New to the area and so relieved to have found this spot. Adam is a fantastic person and gifted with a pair of scissors. He listened to what I wanted, made thoughtful suggestions, and completely delivered. The shop has a great vibe with all the feel-good amenities that echo your grandfathers barber shop, but with a modern and homely twists (like the black keys on the radio and Aiden the friendly bulldog coming in for the real thing). Customer for life. 5 stars. Thank you Virile.

Kevin not only gave me the greatest fade but greatest experience from a barber shop. My cut was so fresh I immediately ran to Nordstrom to get threads that were equivalently fresh. I seriously considered a singing career where my sub-par talent would be compensated by how good I looked. Now I actually fear walking to my car past groups of middle age women at night. If you can handle the pressure of moving up a whole number on the ten point attractiveness scale, visit Virile.

When I moved to Bergen County, I had a difficult time finding a barber that was proficient and understood what worked best for me from a stylistic standpoint. One day I took a long shot on Virile as several reviews seemed to gush about the barbers technical skill and the laid back vibe of the shop. Since that day, this is now my barber shop of choice and I have not looked back. Highly recommended!

From out of town and wanted a classy barbershop and found this one online. Walked up on a Saturday at 7 and three kids were outside and claimed that they were the barbershop and that they "close at 5 on Sundays." Again this happened on a saturday where they close at 8, oh well glad I didnt get a cut there anyways.

This place is great! Great atmosphere, competent staff, good looking haircuts are always coming out of the door. Would recommend to anyone (and have to all my friends). Dan may not be listed as a master barber, but hes my go-to person and takes excellent care of me every time.
