I have lived in Astoria all my life and tried all different salons in the area. Most of them try to be "upscale" like Manhattan but dont quite have qualified hair stylists. So, a few years back I came across E&J, small little shop, simple, clean, and great products not a million different ones. Yanni is the best hair stylist! He really knows how to cut and style hair THE WAY I want it. He listens and suggests too but most importantly He gets it! I dont have to explain over and over how Id like my hair cut and colored etc. Why? Because he cares about every customer who walks into his salon. To me that is important. My family is also his customers. Again, he listens to what you want and let me tell you he goes beyond and makes my hair look great EVERYTIME! Love ya, Yanni!! Lucy

I strongly recommend this specific Hairstylist, his name is Jonh and trust me he knows VERY well what hes doing. He has an incredible and unique skill to form any type of hairstyle on any character. He is beyond expectations. Since i found his spot i haven think to go somewhere else. He is also very friendly, he will sit down with you and talk about anything, and of course when it comes to haircut he gives you a 1.000 different ideas to help you find out what it would be the best for you. He is THE best !!!
