Normally have great experience in Smithhaven mall location but decided to try Bay Shore. Service was very slow and seemed like new waiter. Took long time for drinks, no ice tea but still not sure why since every place has tea bags? Waiter only came by every half hour and would have ordered more from bar but didnt want to wait so shared water and soda with each other. All meals came out at different times so half of us were finished before others got their meals. Husband ordered asking for extra sauce and no prosciutto and yes, had prosciutto and no sauce at all. Finally got sauce 15 minutes later-wrong sauce and meal slightly cold by then. Served telling us how hot plates were holding with a napkin, but gave us plates up in the air for us to grab ourselves? Plates WERE very hot so not sure how else we were supposed get our food other than burning hands. Thought he was going to put on table, but just held plate by our faces until we grabbed them? So again, yes, half our table had to handle hot plate with burnt hands! Burnt buger on one, manager returned and got new one half hour later and still burnt but he was starving so ate it anyway but did not finish because too rare inside. Not sure how you screw up 2 basic cheeseburgers? Manager apologized and credited cheeseburger, but still took 30 minutes to get new one she had ordered. Had to actually apologize to our guest for terrible experience. He had never been there and was looking forward to it since he had never been to Cheesecake Factory and one by his home in NJ. Needless to say he will not be going to another one anywhere. Not pleasant experience for $200 dinner and will NOT be back !!!

This place should be called the roach factory because there were roaches at our booth and at other customers booth according to our observations. It was the most awful experience that I have encountered. The orange chicken was not cooked well, it was a little raw. I told the manager about it she gave me a horrible attitude and charged me for the orange chicken that I did not eat including the replaced entrée. She told me in the beginning that she was not going to charge me for it, and then she still does it even after I brought it to her attention. According to customer service, one is supposed to excuse the badly altered entrée and it should be on the house. The managers name is Brianne, she was horrible, watch out for her. Lastly, my girlfriend and I ended up staying there for literally hour after we were done with our dinner just to fight it and get it corrected, therefore we were in the right.. Another manager by the name of, I believe Eric who is East Asian was amazing and resolved our predicament. (I mentioned his ethnicity because I am not for certain if his name is Eric, but I believe so.) Our waiter by the name of Joshua was nice also. The manager Brianne left a bad taste, and my friends, family, and girlfriend will never come back unless Brianne the manager is fired for the most horrible service that I have experienced from her. She treated myself and my guest as if we personally knew her, not good at all.

As with any Cheesecake Factory that I have dined at, the food is great, but the service can be lacking. This is the first time I ever went to this location, and a co-worker and I decided to call in for take out. The person on the phone told me 20-25 minutes, and when I got there it was a mad house. On top of that, it took an additional 10 minutes to stay on line and wait for my food to be brought up and checked out. Maybe Im just being nitpicky but when you have 1 person behind the counter doing all the bakery and take out orders, it really slows things down. They have 1 guy cleaning the counter over and over again, and another person ringing people up. I should be able to pick up my food, and pay right over the counter without any hassle instead of waiting on a line. Dont know if the place is understaffed but the takeout process just seemed unpolished. Regardless, the food was great overall but I dont plan on calling for takeout at this location again. Maybe Ill try my local Cheesecake Factory for takeout to see if it is like that across all the restaurants, but I think youll have a better experience dining in than out.

Oh man I NEVER leave negative reviews for places but I have to after my first (and last) experience at this place. Everything was great up until I let the waitress know that we have two gift cards (25$ off and free slice of cheesecake). I did not realize at first that the 25 gift card can be redeemed via Mobile Device but NOT the free slice...even though they came together? Anyway, after receiving unwelcomed attitude from our waitress, she was able to apply the free slice gift card. When I asked how to redeem the 25 gift card while the "e-gift" loaded she said with a nasty attitude "Excuse me, I have to take that tables drinks" and just walked away from us.. after waiting another 5-10 minutes she came back then told me I was giving her the same number from the free slice and I proceeded to point out the difference. She took the gift card number and came and told me it would not process through. I asked what could be the reason as I had no idea what she wanted me to say then told me shed go talk to her manager. After another 5 minutes she tells me it processed through... I never wanted to leave faster

We stopped by to get something to eat as a two party and was told that it was a two minutes wait. It didnt sound bad at all - we gave our name and waited. After waiting much longer, another couple walked in as a two party. They were told it would be a few minutes as well and they sat down. They were called ahead of us and said their table was ready after about a one minute wait. I walked to the front and asked why were they seated before us. She told me our table will be ready soon. I said why would they be seated before us if we were waiting before them. She looked at her coworker with a smirk. She gave no explanation with a straight face and look. We walked out. As far as Im concerned, and I can careless what people say, it was BLATANT RACISM. I will be posting and telling what happened at this particular location to many. NO THANK YOU. "WE" DONT NEED THIS TYPE OF TREATMENT FROM ANY ESTABLISHMENT.

Horrible service! The only Cheesecake Factory I have been to where the service was horrible and the meal wasnt good. The restaurant was pretty empty, had ample seating yet they forgot about us after taking down our party information. Once seated, our food took a very long time to come out even though the restaurant wasnt packed - every other cheesecake factory is always packed and yet the food and service is on point. We were a party of 3 and 2 meals came out, we asked the waitress wheres the 3rd to which she responded with sass, "we only have 2 hands". My spaghetti wasnt properly cooked, it was stuck together in chunks (yes, they gave me a new batch but at that point I opted to take it home as it was too late). Chicken fingers over cooked, bread wasnt warm and plates were smoking hot- untouchable! Unacceptable service! Well NEVER return to this location!
