I want to start by saying that this is not a review of the food, but of the service provided to us. I was in the area because I was in the process of moving things from one storage unit to another. While waiting for our moving trucks to arrive we decided to go to the local deli to grab a cup of coffee. I was with a group of 5 ranging in age from 22-60. As we walked into the deli there was no one else either in front of me or behind me. Everyone was taking a second to look at the menu and the middle-aged woman behind the counter asked us what we wanted to order. We informed her that we were trying to decide. Now I understand if the place was crowed and we were holding up the line but there was literally no one else in the deli. She proceeded to ask us once again what we wanted and then proceeded to make faces at us!!!! She literally had her eyes rolling and moving her head back and forth as trying to imply that there was something mentally wrong with us. I have never in my life seen someone act so rudely to a customer. I have worked in both retail and the restaurant business and have had to deal with much worse than someone needing a minute to decide what they wanted to order. My aunt ordered a cup of coffee and the woman again got annoyed and made a face because she had not specified a size that she wanted. Again at this time there was still no one else in the store but us. We were not holding anyone up or trying to order something that was very complicated. I just dont understand how you can work in a job where you have to interact with other people if this is how you are going to treat them. I want to say that the gentleman that help us was very nice and provided good service, but purely based on the womans treatment of my family I will never be returning. That was horrible customer service and I dont see the need to treat anyone like that when they have been given no cause to be treated that way.

I gave this place many chances, my coworkers order from here because its close to the office. I ask for my bagel specifically toasted, and every time the edge is slight toasted, I wouldnt even call it toasted. I specifically called after my coworker placed the order and ask to please make sure it was toasted, the response, "Yep, looks toasted". Again my order came with the lame excuse for being toasted, and the bagels are absolutely awful. They must freeze these bagel and thaw them in the morning, have all freezer burn. Good luck pond deli, should try caring about your customers food if youre going to serve it.

Another Deli down the road was good enough for me until their food started giving me stomachaches. Ponds food is really good. I always get a frogman with no ham and so far no stomachaches! I would definitely suggest the french toast bagels with cream cheese (toasted) and a side of egg salad. Perfect start to my morning each time I get it. By the way the staff is friendly enough and the food fairly priced. The eggs are just a bit more expensive because of the bird flu egg shortage going on right now. But anyways no complaints!

I go here even after they messed my order up 3 times, then they raised the price with out changing the board and to make up for it they taxed me for the sandwich of cheese and lettuces on an Italian hero. If they see this ill be glad to say i have worked in two delis and 3 pizza/resturants and that is the worst customer service even in their faces you could tell they do not like customers that point out their wrong. Also they miss label their food Sincerely, Emily p.s no longer giving business

Called and asked for an itemized receipt and was told it would be faxed to me. A week later called back and then they tell me they do not have it and because it was signed for there is nothing they can do about it. That is some horrible customer service. I think the reason it cost over $80.00 for three meals and three drinks is because some moron there punched in a $5.00 tip as $50.00.

Good food, with generous portions. Indifferent, seemingly depressed staff. To me, the most telling; a FILTHY dining room. The dining room floor looked as if it hadnt been mopped in a week. With the dining room that dirty, it made me wonder what the kitchen looked like. That thought alone ruined my meal.

I thought the food was good and the service was fine. The only mess up was when I ordered an egg sandwich on an onion roll and got an egg sandwich on an onion bagel instead. To me, it wasnt worth bitching about, it still tasted very good.
