Awful experience. My hair looked great but the curls did not last as long as they made it seem to be. And the thing that I hated was the lack of professionalism. Originally they had told me they could put on eyelashes, HOWEVER once my hair was done, the workers told me that it was MY JOB to bring the lashes PLUS the glue and only then would they put on the lashes. So I had to leave then come back and even so when I returned they told me the glue I had brought (DUO Striplash Adhesive) would not work so they would "try" to make it work. Mind you, they did not even measure nor see whether the lashes were a right fit for me (Obviously they did not fit because lashes are made longer so that a person can cut them to the size of their eye) but the woman still put them on as they were so the front of the lashline looked disgusting, downright sloppy. I was so furious about how they made me leave the salon to buy the stuff and then come back to be charged $20 just for putting them on. Like really? It was that much work? You didnt even size them or put them accordingly to the lashline? Not to mention the makeup that I was wearing already had been completely ruined due to their incapablity of being careful. Will definitely not return, overpriced, and unprofessional.

I saw some pictures on their Instagram page and their work looked really professional, it caught my eye so I decided to try something new and change my look. I went March 9 the day of my birthday to dye my hair, at first the manager told me the charge was $100.00 and 4 hours later after the job was done one of her employees charged me $130.00 and when I was ready to pay the manager changed her mind and charged me $150.00 I was upset and mad but I paid the price because my hair honestly looked amazing. Before leaving Lush Beauty Salon on Grand Concourse I tipped the employee $30.00 which I totally regret because in less than one week my hair was terrible, it was really damaged and it was three different colors. I called them back and instead of fixing the problem they wanted to charge me $70.00 to re-dye my hair. Terrible experience, I wouldnt recommend this place at all not even if it was the only hair salon in this world!

Im very picky with who I let do my hair, that being said, April is now my go to girl for hair! She had me leaving feeling beautiful! I was nervous at first trying someone new. My main guy is in brooklyn and I just didnt have the time this week to travel all the way there, so I looked around nearby and found Lush, as far as I can tell it was clean and well kept. I was greeted at the door and told her what I wanted, a haircut (they do nails too and makeup I believe). She then had me sit, probably only 10 minuets before someone came to do my hair. April was amazing she gave me exactly what i wanted, took ger time, and when she suggested a blow out she was kind enough to even make sure it was within my budget before even doing it, I appreciated that so much. She was awesome! Ill definitly be coming back!

Worst customer service. I was there for 4 hours. When I got home, i noticed my nails were still smudging. I went back and Patty, who I tipped very well, had extreme attitude and refused to put it the jewels on after I paid. 7 days later, my nails are chipping and one broke. Rude, terrible and the worst customer service. (I didnt even mention that the $30 pedicure I paid for was a folding chair in the back with a dollar store tin container that my feet barely fit in. No running water so halfway thru, the water was cold and I asked for wawr water and I was told I would have to pay a $5.00 water fee) THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE

Ive went here twice for a professional haircut and both came out gorgeous! Once was a pixie with shaved sides, and the other was a regular pixie with long bangs. The workers here are nice and cater to what you want, not like other salons in the area who convince you to get what they want you to get. Love this place! Affordable prices and great level of experience. Will be going here for another cut and style this week. I guarantee you will enjoy your experience here!

Had a wonderful experience here. Will definitely be comming back, it was my first time and I told them that I chose their place because of all the other nice comments. This is a classic Dominican salon with a downtown feel to it. Awesome staff, very warm and welcoming, would deff recommended this spot if you want the best service

The experience was nice... Ive been there a couple of times!! But the last time I went a woman I dont know her name did my hair and kind of fried my hair and my ends are horrible (no is not split ends). Ive had to stop blow drying my hair for a while. But after all I like it, its okay!

I made an appointment on time to do a balayage the girl looks like she knew...but I spend 8 hours and the results were terrible I paid $195 and my hair is orange Im very sad because she made me a very bad work...I dont want to come back any more 5/7/17...

Love.. Love... LOVE.... This place!!! Staff is friendly and welcoming, they always do exactly what I ask them to do. Very professional. I highly recomend this place. Its is very pricey but, I will pay to have perfection!!!
