Everything you need and nothing you dont. Best value haircut in the city, been going for 5 years. Get a shave too! Ive lived across the street for over 5 years and have had my hair cut consistently here. Theres rarely a wait (& never more than for the one person in the chair) and I love the small business family community feel of the shop. Theyll engage you in conversation if you want or let you watch the sports on TV (I love soccer). The cuts are always efficient and Im quite pleased with the result, hence going to them month in and out for over six years for the regular. Michael (brother of David) is my usual barber and he always takes good care of me, often going above and beyond with a hot towel shave (do it!). This is probably the last great value in the area and I always feel as if Ive gotten more than my moneys worth walking out the door, so much so that I can go back frequently without going over budget. You will be pleased if youre looking for a reliable mom & pop barber shop (not a stylist). Do it.

Ive tried all the rest- now I found the best. Ive been living and working in Doentown BK for 10 years and Ive gone to every barber shop in town - but for the last 9 of those 10 years I only go to Davids. David is a great guy and he and his family run the shop. They all cut your hair exactly the way you ask them to do it. Will never go back to this barber shop. Thought I would save some bills from the usual $40 cut, and never again will I come back. Barber did not listen to what I wanted and kept cutting and cutting and cutting. They have no sense of style. Both barbers working looked miserable and did not speak. Bad decision to even walk in here. There is a reason some barbers get $40 for a cut. Because they are good at what they do.

Echo statement below. Lady that cuts is the best, in the last chair and on Saturday only. The others do what they want somewhere in the realm of what you might have wanted. What else do you expect from 3 barbers with haircuts straight out of Growing Pains, surly attitudes who charge a nifty 14 bucks? Ive been a few times and probably will again but only on Saturday. Its close and I guess Im a sadist.

Davids Barbershop is a family owned business that cuts everyones hair. It is a professionally ran barbershop that turns no one away, and charges competitive prices. The barbers are friendly and make every effort to give you the cut you want. My son and I are from East Flatbush Brooklyn and have been going to Davids for 12 years. This is our go to barbershop. I highly recommended them.

Davids is a great neighborhood barbershop. I live in Clinton Hill and travel to Cobble Hill specifically to get my hair cut at Davids. It took me a few years to find this place and have never looked back. Always get excellent and professional service, short waits, and a great looking haircut.
