On the recommendation of my roommates who have used FlyCleaners regularly without any problems, I decided to use the $10 introductory discount. Big mistake. The delivery man who came to pick up my clothes (total value around $300) was friendly, but seemed like he was high or something. My app never updated to say the clothes had been collected, and simply went back to "pickup scheduled". This was on a Saturday evening, and the app had originally said my laundry would be ready by Sunday afternoon. With still no change by Sunday morning, I emailed customer service who, after some back-and-forth, informed me that the name tag must have been "accidentally removed" from my bag. Given that I never had any initial confirmation, its likely this name tag was actually never put on in the first place. I had to give a description of all the items in my bag, and was informed that recovering lost items could take up to two weeks. As I needed the clothes for Monday, I had to go and buy replacement underwear and t-shirts which Ive had no offer of reimbursement for. Judging by the rest of the reviews, it seems that threatening legal action is the only way to get things resolved. When I next spoke to customer service on Tuesday (Monday was a national holiday and customer service was closed, but the delivery service was operating) I told them that Id be contacting my lawyers and taking them to a small claims court if this wasnt fixed ASAP. Miraculously, just a few hours later I was sent photos taken by another FlyCleaners customer whod been delivered my clothes by mistake. Their paltry offer of compensation was to cancel the charges for this order and give me $20 credit which, to add insult to injury, was prefaced as some kind of special deal because I "wasnt able to use the original $10 offer". $20 credit is useless to me, since Im not going to be risking losing my clothes again. I should have read the reviews. Steer clear. Many laundromats do their own pickup and delivery services, and theyre cheaper than $1.50/pound anyway.

Flycleaner lost my laundry. I did my laundry yesterday and the status remains as "Pick-up scheduled". I contact them today and they cannot find my laundry and are still looking for it. Meanwhile, I need to buy new working clothing for those days before they find it (hopefully they can find it). As a result, I asked them who is gonna pay for those clothing that I have to buy for those days that my laundry is missing, no response so far. I also went to their website to check their reimbursement policy for missing items. Quote: "Any wash and fold item deemed lost shall be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, but in any case reimbursement for lost wash and fold item shall not exceed five (5) times the price of the weight of the wash and fold." Image that you give them a bag of clothing to wash and fold which is probably gonna cost you 30 bucks? So if they lost those clothing they will only pay you up to 150 dollars to replace those clothing which is far less than enough. So please do not use this company for your laundry. And for anyone having trouble getting them to compensate for your loss, do not hesitate to file a claim at the court. Update: They found my clothing on Monday and sent them back on Tuesday morning. But during the discussion, they confirmed two things: (1) they wont reimburse any purchase you have to make while your laundry is missing. (2) In the case they cannot find your laundry, they will compensate you by $7.5 PER POUND. For my experience, I threaten them that I need my laundry back by Monday night or I have to buy new clothing and towles (I washed all my towels and most of my workout clothing and under t-shirts), or they will have to compensate for that as well as the replacement cost of my clothing in the case that they cannot find it, instead of the amount based on weight. I will take them to court if necessary. And after 30 mins of that email, they found my laundry. Miracle!

THE WORST! I scheduled a pickup for 3 dress shirts on Friday morning. My husband needed them by this morning (Wednesday) for a business trip. The Fly app said they would be ready by Tuesday. When they did not arrive by noon yesterday (Tuesday), I emailed Fly to find out what the status was. I told them I needed the shirts by end of day Tuesday. They told me that they had a lot of orders but the ETA was still correct and that they would reach out to the dry cleaner and give an updated ETA. I explained, again, that I needed the shirts by the end of the day. Someone else wrote me back saying that they could not promise to get the shirts to me by the end of the day. He cancelled the charge for the order, but it didnt matter because they still had no update in my husbands shirts. At about 6:15 am in Wednesday, I got an update that the shirts were ready. If I could have had them delivered by 7 am, I would still be a customer. But the app would not let me schedule he delivery until between 7 and 8 am. I emailed them again to ask if they could put a rush on it, but they never responded. My husband left at 7:20 and the shirts arrived at 7:30. I am so annoyed that Im putting this review EVERYWHERE online and I hope people think twice before giving Fly their business. If they had just sent me an update earlier to let me know the shirts would not be ready at the time promised, I could have had other shirts cleaned in a rush. But to tell me that they took 3 and a half days to do 3 shirts is a joke. The point of it all is convenience. And this experience was a major inconvenience. Bye, bye Fly!

The worst service in the city. After they lost half of my clothes, been ignored and without a refund, I started to do a research and I ended up with the local laundromat were they outsource some of their laundry. I was lucky because the local laundromat left a ticket accidentally inside of my clothes. I went to this laundromat and I find out that Flycleaners are a middleman that outsource their laundry to small laundromat all around the city. Those laundromats get paid 50 cents per pound.. Because the cheap price they get paid, they dont care about quality, laudry gets washed with cheap detergent and without softener. The laundry get lost all the time and there is nothing they can do because they dont have control of those small laundromat were they outsource and drop off their laundry to be washed... They have customer service but it doesnt help in any way because they dont have their own laundromat and dont have an idea what happened with your clothes or how are been washed.. Luckily you may get some of the clothes that get lost and most of the time you will never get it back because your clothes are washed and mixed with other people clothes from all kver the city.. That means you will never get it back.. Good luck if one day your chose to use their services..

I really liked FlyCleaners the first two times, but Ive been wrapped in a bizarre email chain in the last few days trying to recover pants of mine theyve lost. When I first contacted FlyCleaners about the pants, they told me they would look for them. 3 days later, I got a message saying not only had they found the pants I was looking for, but they think they found a second pair I didnt even realize they had lost. This was true - I didnt know Id lost them, but by the description, I realized they were mine. They told me two days ago theyd get my pants to me. Then, silence. I wrote 3 times trying to figure out where my pants were (I bought replacement pants for one of the pairs because I originally had them cleaned because I needed them the next day...now its 5 days). Today I got a message saying theyre "still working on this issue and will let me know when they find them." This service is too expensive given that its FAR less convenient to spend hours working with customer support that doesnt have its act together than it is to just have my local guys down the street bring pick up and deliver for me.
