I had the worst experience with this locksmith. I lost my motorcycle key so the guy told me no problem bring the bike in we can fit a key. Loaded the bike in the pickup and brought it over. After two hours of trying to make a key the guy sent me home and said he would call me when it was done. Got a call an hour later that it was done. I asked him to make a couple of spare keys and I paid the nearly $300 bill! Went out to the bike and tried the key and nothing happens! He told me if the key turns it should work and that it is some other problem with the bike. I told him the motorcycle was working perfectly the day before. Pretty much they said too bad. I brought the bike to Kawasaki and they replaced the ignition for $200. Nothing was wrong with the bike other than the ignition that the locksmith destroyed! These guys are a ripoff!!! Stay away!

I just moved into a new house and wanted new locks on everything! I am new to Long Island and when I was researching different places, this was the only one that has been in business for like 40 years or something. If someone is putting locks in all over my house where my family loves, being in business that long is really the only test of honesty and reliability in this business. Now that being said, the work was fantastic and I am very happy with how my locks look. This place is worth every penny, excellent work. In response to the other review.. Im not paying for personality, Im paying for reliable quality service and products. This is my locksmith for as long as Im on Long Island.

When I called them, they quoted me a price, when the guy actually arrived, they jacked the price up $10 and said they are not going to do it for less. I called the shop back and the guy rudely told me they never quoted me the original price. I had a similar service done 6 months back and it was $20 less than what they charged me and with a better lock! I only called them because they are located closer, lesson learned - never deal with dishonest people! But I do give them credit for getting here within 15mins though, so 2 stars instead of 1. The conclusion is- use them only if you are rich and want fast service ;)

Was not pleased agree with KB Northport, tried to take advantage of us especially a fellow Stuart. Wanted to have a door rekeyed I asked several times the cost no response. Then he proceeded to take off the lock. Once it was all apart told us $150 we told him forget it to much $$. Then he said you owe me $20 for the labor for taking off the lock. Went back and forth since he said I never asked how much which is completely BS. He then cut the price back to $100, this is not how I do business. You should be quoted a price upfront not held up!

Based on my own unhappy experience, I would recommend that you stay away from this business. Id had keys made there before, so I decided to call them to change some dead bolts and door knobs in my house. The bill was outrageous. When I checked with other locksmiths and online, I discovered that Id overpaid by at least 75%! I went in to the storefront to discuss the bill, and I was able to negotiate a small part of the bill, so now Ive overpaid by 50%. I would urge everyone to compare prices before hiring this business.

Great locksmith! They are very professional and knowledgeable. I lost my car keys and someone recommended Assured, so I called and a tech came quickly, made me a new key that workS even better than the old one! And years later we needed some deadbolt locks installed in our home so we went to the Assured shop in East Northport and wound up purchasing a SAFE. They came over and took care of it all quickly and again, great, friendly and professional service. I would recommend Assured Locksmith highly to everyone!

I needed the locks changed in my home, called Assured and they were very helpful! The man on the phone was curtious and quoted me a very fair price... The locksmith that came to my house was very pleasant and knowledgeable.... They did a great job and didnt try to rip me off like others do.... Overall it was a great job, done in a very timely manner....I would recommend this company to anyone who needs a locksmith!

got locked out of my car at 230am in the morning and was stuck called assured and they got a man to me in 30min he was so efficient and fast and even gave me a jump when my battery died. they were really quick and reasonable and i went back the next day and got a good deal on some spare keys. would definitely use for some doors on my house.

Brought in a busted safe 8:00am needed my passport out of it for my trip to Italy. 8:05 Safe was open right there in the parking lot. 8:10 Educated Me on Junk safes 8:25 Problem Solved, The only thing I lost was sleep waiting for them to open. Thanks Guys!

1 star for answering the phone....might as well shouldnt have he said he couldnt do any thing for me tonight with an attitude..then he wants $220 double the price of other locations I said wow he went on telling me off..horrible customer service
