I have been living in the Fresh Meadows area for over 17 years and I have to say that this far and beyond the best barber shop i have been too. This shop isnt about gimmicks like the $7.99 haircuts. I have been changing my barbershops every couple of years but I will not go anywhere else but New Generation. Everything about New Generation was just so professional. I just had my haircut done a few minutes ago. I was impressed with the quality of my haircut and the terrific service. I loved the free hot towel and back massage. All the guys from Arthur to Mike are extremely friendly. Mike was really nice, and helpful. I cant wait to come back again. Keep up the great work Arthur and Crew. Highly Recommended.

Arthur is a hair architect! once he cuts your hair just one time, he remembers your style and perfects it. Your fanivorite cut only gets better and better! Hes queens best barber and definately the go to for st. Johns students. Hes always got new deals to shave off a few bucks from your cut. The man and his employees are all geniuses! Dont be shy, because Arthur and his guys like to talk you up. Also, if your not sure what cut you want, let them decide. Ive done this on a few occasions, I was a bit nervous each time, but all the styles ended up looking great!

Best barbershop in town! Arthur & co. are masters at their craft. The level of service and consistency that this barber shop delivers is unmatched. Having grown up in Queens, Ive been a regular at several hair salons & barber shops over the years. New Generation keeps me coming back because of their commitment to outstanding work. I have been getting my haircut here weekly for the last several month and have never been happier. I advise all those seeking a quality barber shop to pay New Generation a visit. You will not be sorry.

New Generation Barber Shop is the best place to get a haircut near St. Johns University. Its only two blocks past Dunkin Donuts. Skip the $7.99 haircut shop a block closer as they give horrible haircuts. Trust Me! I go to Arthur at New Generation and always leave with a great haircut. They use straight edged razors for a shape up and hot shaving cream. After your haircut, enjoy a free hot towel and back message. I will not go anywhere else!

After having tried quite a few different barbers in town, stumbling across this lovely joint was just short of a blessing. Amazing service, phenomenal ambience, and a real gentlemans barber. Have not gone anywhere else since. any barbers are without doubt the best barbers Ive had. Just love the place, its patrons and most of all the great group of people running the show. Thanks again.

Just went today, and I am not exaggerating when I say that the haircut I received at New Generation is the best one Ive ever gotten. Everyone in there knows what theyre doing and seem like a good bunch of guys as well. If youre wondering whether or not to give this place a try, just do it. You will look sharp. Also, shout out to my boy Pinny; that guy knows what hes doing.

Need a fresh cut, a crispy shape up or a shave this is the place to come to! Dont wait come in now and get hooked up by 3 excellent barbers. Every time I come here I get a fresh cut crispy points and Im never disappointed. Best service is here as well after u get a cut you get a free hot towel. Dont wait come in you wont regret it.

So so cut, and overpriced. 50+ dollars for a haircut and shave. Shave was really good and therapeutic, but I dont think Barbasol, and 1 straight razor (which is reused) cost $18.00. I pay $15 - $18 dollars in total for an excellent cut, and a solid shave. Prices go down, and I would have to reconsider traveling to Ozone Park.

Ive been going here for the past 3 years and it by far is the best barbershop ive been to. I come out from long island during the summer to get a cut. Arthur, the owner, definitely knows how to treat his customers right and isnt satisfied until it is perfect. I highly recommend this place. You wont be disappointed.

Ive gotten cut here a few times and was only some what satisfied. Service is very slow unless you get there as soon as they open otherwise be prepared to wait a very long time. Avoid getting a cut from Albert, he has absolutely no skill and tries to trick you into paying extra.

I live about 45 minutes away from here but its worth it. Very clean, very professional, and my son feels comfortable here. Hes 8 yrs old and I have brought him to many barbers, he likes it here the best. These barbers listen and are very nice to him.

Wow. Whats an experience. This was the first time Ive ever gotten a haircut from a "non-black" person and I must say that MARK DID AN AMAZING JOB. Totally recommend this place. The service, the experience, the whole package is great. Worth it.

It is my first time coming here from new jersey, Mark who was the barber did a fantastic job on a low fade cut which im very happy. The place is very professional and very peaceful to relax while getting cut. I will come back again to this spot!

This place is awesome! Before I went to a bad barbershop and on my way home I stopped by and asked if they and fix it they did it and it was awesome. From then on I kept going to this place. Suggest you come their it's awesome 5/5 stars.

This is a great place to get a nice, clean hair cut. Me and both of my sons love going there. Boys are happy that they get set of hot wheels at the end. Barbers are very proffesional and experienced. I highly recommend for everyone.
