I drove 80 miles a day and 30min out of my way from my job for my child to attend this school. Not worth your time nor money! This is a small community day care center that lacks diversity. This school had a great past reputation, but it is seriously declining and struggling. The teachers will not meet basic standards and only one that is excellent for your 1year old, Ms. Lisa. The one star is for her. The teachers dont interact with the children and will show your two year old videos all day. The director shows favoritism to her personal friends and seriously lacks professionalism. The office lady is ghetto, lacks education, and does not know anything about being a professional. The school does not uphold a mission and is cliquish. They will nickel and dime you. Change their hours and close early haphazardly. I will suggest you find another establishment for your child. I chose to not be anonymous because my assessment is sincere and I stand behind this review.

This is actually an excellent academy to which I had two of my nieces and one cousin attending a few years ago...the staff along with teachers enthusiasm is excellent with the children down to the guardians...its also a steal in terms of tuition compared to competitor academys in the market and the school has worked with my family and I when there was issues..I highly recommend this school and another good thing about this school is that its in a perfect location from public transportation....you have the Q77 & Q85 bus within mins from the academy along with the Laurelton, Long Island Rail Road which is located directly across the street from the school with parking which came very handy especially during the winter season and or bad weather period.Great School

My cousin and sister attended this school when we moved to Queens and they loved their experience there. My parents love the teachers and staff. Another thong that i love about this school is that they challenge their children academically and spiritually. Academically through different vocabulary books, as well as through a higher grade level book. Spiritually, by understanding God is the supreme almighty one and through him anything can be done. By challenging their children, may I also add they enforce discipline (with love) which is necessary in our society. I got to work here for the summer camp and it was absolutely a great experience. I recommend this school to parents who are trying to find a great school for their children.

One of the worst money scheming schools in HISTORY. My son was put on a waiting list. They made me feel like their school was Top Notch. Then asked me to pay $175.00 NON-REFUNDABLE registration Fee. Then $450.00 Tuition by the 1st day of classes. My son has NEVER had a behavioral issues but was discharged after only ONE day of classes!! They KEPT my money too !! Do not put your child in this school!! You will regret wasting your money where FUNDS are priority over the children!! And they make parents pay all this money knowing they will not keep the child!!

Laurelton Academy is an excellent academic institution with a great Director and a group of professional and nurturing teachers. My son attended the school for two years and he is currently one of the top readers in his first grade class. His younger sister now attends the school and is having a great time learning, playing and being a part of the Laurelton Academy family. The school focuses on comprehensive education, catering to the academic, social and cultural needs of its students.
