I started using Harbor Child Care at Herrick’s with my oldest kid for camp on summer vacations, filled with great activities and lots of friends, it has never been disappointing for me or my kid. After I find out I was pregnant again I knew the only place I could sent my little one when I went back to work was Harbor Childcare. It’s been more than 5 years that I had met my Harbor family (because is how the staff makes me feel like the uncles and aunts that visit for the holidays) and I couldn’t be happier that I was recommended to come here. Harbor Child Care allows me to work knowing that my kids are being care for and, any issues are communicated with me, like calling me if my child gets sick. There is good communication and everybody is always pleasant. Thanks to Harbor I have a great peace of mind when I drop of my kids and have to go to work, I Know this place can’t be replace.

Theres nothing more worrisome as a first time parent to leave your child with strangers all day. Im happy to say that Harbor has exceeded our expectations and made us feel at ease taking care of our son. The teachers are friendly, easy to talk to and take very good care of the little ones. Communication is an important part between teacher and parent and they do an excellent job letting you know your childs progress. They have fun activities that are conducive to learning. My son has learned so many new things since starting Harbor. Im very happy with the facility and the program overall. I recommend this location to any parents who are hesitant to leave their child in the care of others. Special thank you to Ms.Smita for accommodating us on short notice. Thank you to Ms.Rosanne and the fireflies for treating us like family and taking such good care of our little one.

My two kids have gone to Harbor Day Care at Herricks for the last few years. It has been a great experience for us via various classes and teachers. The center is run very professionally maintaining a high standard. They are always responsive to questions and promote learning among the children. The kids have grown in terms of social skills and basic academics during the stay. The center directors are very approachable and open to suggestions. Both the kids have loved the center and remember their teachers with appreciation. Thats probably the biggest compliment.

I could not have asked for a better place for my children to be while I am at work! The teachers at Harbor child care are excellent- molding and teaching the kids while keeping in conversation with parents about their schedule/progress/parenting style at home. The children get individualized teaching. In the infant class, the care givers are in tune with each baby and are very gentle with schedules, which I appreciate a lot. The administration is open to feedback and they make great efforts to have personal connections with all the families.

When I was looking for a Day care for my kids ,I came to know about Harbor Child Care. All I can say as a mother I could not think any other place other than Harbor childcare for my kids.The best child care in the town !!! With an amazing Director Ms Smita and the management. I saw my kids growing From a baby to a toddler under a very caring , trained and professional staff. After meeting the teachers of the Raindrops classroom I knew this was the school for my son. They were incredibly patient, and encouraged him in every aspect. He comes home full of excitement, and can’t wait to share his day with me! I’ve noticed how much his vocabulary and social skills have grown over the past several months as well. We are incredibly happy with the care that our baby gets at Harbor Child Care...hes been going since he was about 3 months old and he LOVES his teachers. They truly love and care for him, which makes me feel better when Im at work all day. The office and administrators are really hands on and responsive.
