Golden Shears Salon is Open 7 Days A Week for the past 16 years. We stand behind our work, and have very strong work ethics. We have a staff of 13, which includes 10 stylists, which most have been committed to our clients for more than 10 years. A Nail Tech, that is all about quality, cleanliness and taking care of clients in this area for more than 8 years. We offer 2 Professional Technicians that offer Body Waxing and Eyelash Extensions in a private room. We are a business solely because we love what we do! Yes there are many other salons in this area that you may choose, but if you happen to walk-in for just a eyebrow wax or Mens haircut. I went to this salon and was extremely UNsatisfied with my experience! I asked for a few high lights through the sides and the top of my hair, the employee ended up heavily high lighting my hair and fried the ends off completely and left me entirely to blond! I was not offered a discount, and my haircut was very uneven (by at least 2 inches on one side). I was also appalled at the amount of gossip that went on in this salon, it honestly made me wonder what would be said about me after I left! This place is very unprofessional and obviously they dont know what they are doing with hair!!

Had the worst experience today, i was going on a date with my wife for my one year anniversary and i needed a shave real badly, so i drove all the way to this barber to find that they wont do it because she wanted to go home and didnt care too much to help, its only an extra 5 mintutes, its not even a haircut its only a shave and they were very rude about it! i left feeling sad that an extra 5min of her life was too important to help someone make his wife happy which could last a life time

They are very patient and finally got a male barber that can do fades, edge ups,3 etc he doesnt just use scissors. I had gone a few years ago and when I asked for a fade they told me they could only do scissor cuts and that my hair was too short. Today was a complete 180 the barber was able to do a fade and it was good. Happy customer when my main barber over First stop barbershop isnt around

Not only do I use Angie @ GS exclusively, but she is so wonderful, my mom comes up from Westchester to get her hair done here. Angie is also the only person on the planet that my autistic 6-year-old will allow to cut his hair! Pleasant, professional, great cuts, fabulous prices - cant say enough good things about my experiences with Angie/Golden Shears over the years.

I live outside of Boston, but visit my daughter twice a year near Liberty. Since the prices at Golden Shears are half of the Boston areas I thought Id try them. Their skills are equal or better than Bostons. So twice a year I get a haircut, shampoo, etc. and my nails done. Lovely work and lovely people. Wish I could visit there more often.

Do not ever get your hair cut here. Every time Ive tried to get a haircut, its been cut unevenly and too much has been taken off. Amanda and Carrie cut my hair two seperate occasions, but both times it looked like there were pieces they forgot to trim. Horrible.
