Have not been to the Liberty Diner in a few years, but I was surprised at the lack of quality, taste and appearance at the food served there. The matzoh ball soup was the same chicken noodle soup that my partner had, but with a huge, stale, dry matzoh ball in the center. My partner ordered a standard diner fare burger and fries. He received two types of fries...crinkle cut and steak fries. Either they were scraped off someone elses plate, or the cook could not be bothered at 6:00 p.m. with making more fries. My traditional omelette and home fries arrived and the potatoes were the most unappealing, inedible I have ever encountered. When I bit into the omelette, I encountered something quite hard, which turned out to be the cheese! Needless to say, it is goodbye Liberty Diner. I guess you really cant go back.

Ive been coming here since 2004, when it was open 24 hrs a day and the only thing to do was go bowling, go to Wal-Mart and then go to the diner since it was open 24 hours a day, and it was either cheese fries or drugs when you were a teen. Visiting it when I came home was nostalgic, but the changes that have hit was sad to see. I can understand it not being 24 hours anymore, and I guess I understand the $2 charge for water and $3 charge for a dish of lemons, considering what our antics were, but what I didnt expect was how small the portions were, how mediocre overall it was, and how lackluster the service was. I guess its true you can never go home again.

Had to go to traffic court in the town. I live hour and half away. I was not attracted to the area and was skeptical about eating anything around. I Google a diner and this diner was closest, so I said a prayer. I must say that what I had hoped to be a decent meal, turned out to be a extremely delicious meal, from the biscuits and gravy, to my salad with grilled chicken. My girlfriends burger with onion rings were also top notch. Im craving more 3 days later and Im now sad I live so far away.

Terrible! Waitresses were casual, inattentive. Food took forever to arrive, even a simple Turkey sandwich. The portions were huge, but that doesnt make up for the ersatz food. The Lobster Bisque had no lobster, just pasty chunks of artificial crabmeat - surimi or "sea legs. The salad bar had such tasteless items as canned beets (Ugh!). The large portions drew a great number of very large locals. But for everyone else, stay away! Not worth a visit.

The surrounding towns dont really offer much in the way of traditional diners, so this is your only real option. Its hyper saturated with locals as a result. The food is good, havent had a bad meal, but mostly just standard. Theres no special marker that makes this place stand out. Service has improved over the years, their current wait staff is the best its ever been. This is a good place to group up or have a relaxing meal with the family.

Ive eaten here for almost 15 years, and every year it seems to get a little worse. The food is clearly not freshly made, the service is mediocre and the prices are going up while quality goes down. The only redeeming quality is the soup and salad with dinner. If youre ordering faithfuls like open roast beef, youll be fine, but stay away from anything more complex than roast chicken.

The food is fair. The staff reflects the locals. A bit of a trailer park crowd. The Bus Boys work hard and the cashiers are friendly. The food is diner food a little on the expensive side but since they are the only game in town, you do not have much of a choice. The internet used to work but that too has gone to hell. The desserts are good though.

I have been a loyal customer of Liberty Diner for many years. Each time I have a meal, the service is always very good with the wait staff being very attentive. The food is always fresh and the portions very generous. Well worth the money. Its the only diner I eat at and actually go out of my way to get to. I would definitely recommend to a friend.

Best cheese cake in the county. I really love there eggplant and spegetti also there cheese burgers and Curley fires are always on point. Looking for a quick meal with great service this is the place to go. Customer service is always great. Angelica is the best waitres shes nice and always has the best service. I highly recommend the liberty diner.

Oh yeeessss at the Liberty diner for my steak and eggs breakfast..Always a pleasure coming to the diner where the owners and the staff are always smiling and glad to see YOU.. Hostess just threw our menus on the table waitress was slow and inconciderate was out here for a job so Im glad to say that even if I had to come back here Ill never eat there again. Plus paid for 2 cheeseburgers that we didnt eat cause it was horrible $25 bill lucky I left a $3 tip. I usually tip %10

We stopped on our way to NYC. Great food. Wonderful attentive service. We were too full to try dessert and were going to stop on our way home, but made the huge mistake of trying Roscoe Diner instead. Awful experience there! I encourage people to go to Liberty Diner, Exit 100.

I have been to Liberty several times to visit a friend of mine and we always go to the Liberty Diner. The staff is so friendly and the food is prepared just as you like it. I will continue to make it my choice to go to for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Nice family restaurant.

They have the best burgers and sweet potato fries! The new renovations add to the atmosphere and we always feel welcomed there! And the best thing is the owners have always been so kind and give my daughter a big cookie before we leave!

The food their is wonderful especially the hot wings and open roast beef the staff is friendly,polite and dressed well.The owners r wonderful and treats everybody like family.(especially me he is like a dad to me Joe)

Good food. Clean but experience. I got a BLT on a hard roll. It was 8$. There was barely any Bacon on it. I had the same.sandwich at another place for 2.dollars cheaper. It had allot more Bacon.on it!!

Its what you expect from a diner. Usually bustling with locals its hard to eat alone here. Nick and Helen are great hosts and theres always something on the menu.
