Went the first time and got an awesome cut I guess from the owner. I always get a fade with a 1 on top. Did a great job. Went 2nd time and got a good haircut from different person. Third time I got a good haircut from a young guy who was very "hoodish" came off as very tugish and was speaking Im assuming Russian the whole time with the barber in the next seat that was playing videos games the entire time. When I presented the stamp card he told me that they dont honor it anymore because "he loses money and hit hurts his pocket" he was being very rude about not honoring the card to a mother with 2 young children after they got their cuts. The sign saying 5th haircut 1/2 off was still hanging in the window. Went today, 4th and last time ever. Walked in and was greeted yet a 4th different barber, a woman who was very nice and very pleasant and we had a funny conversation The entire time. Bad thing is I wasnt there for conversation, she gave me the worst fade Ive ever had. She had no experience doing a fade and couldnt correct anything I pointed out so I just ended up becoming a test dummy for her. When I went to pay I mentioned about the stamp card and what the previous barber did and she told me that they still honor the card and the sign is still hanging in the window, 5th haircut 1/2 off. I dont care about the 1/2 off but dont lie to people. If you want customers to return, have consistent professional barbers and honor the ads you put out. I I felt so bad for that mother of 2 who presented the stamp cards and was rudely told no! She had a very upset look on her face. I will be looking elsewhere for my next cut.

Moved to the area more than a year ago, and asked around for a new barber shop, got pointed to one direction while this one caught my eye. Gave Champs a shot and have not received a haircut anywhere BUT Champs in Massapequa since. Great service, they dont just funnel you through to get the next person in the chair. Tvs at every booth so your not looking out the side of your eye at one tv. They put the time and effort in to make sure you love your haircut and are very professional. All the barbers there do an amazing job, I recommend Champs to everyone and have turned a few customers their way because they see how happy I am with my haircuts.

I went in Sunday just to get my hair cleaned up, so I figured I would try a new place. I will never make that mistake again. I never had a barber brutalized my neck with the clippers the way this one did. The marks and redness on my neck is ridiculous even over 6 hours after the haircut. I asked for a razor part, which I got, but it looks like I got scalped on the side of my head. I was given a punch card after the cut, saying after the 4th cut the next is half price. I would rather get my next cut at the Barber School for the Blind!

Great barber shop. I cant believe it took me nearly 6 months to find it. I got my hair cut by Eli last week and was pleasantly surprised at how good of a cut he gave me. So I returned with my 16 year old son today and Ruben cut his hair. Now for a 16 year old to like his haircut immediately you know you had to do something right. Im sure the flatscreen TV at every chair tuned into ESPN didnt hurt either. This place has a nice atmosphere with great barbers. Check them out. You wont be disappointed.

I recently purchased a house in massapequa park in 2015. I was referred to Champs Barber Shop. I got an excellent haircut by one of the owners and felt like I was at my hometown barbershop that I went to for over a decade. I have recommended Champs to friends and clients who continue to refer Champs to their friends. Thanks for always giving me the right cut and making me look good physically and to anyone I refer you. I highly recommend any male trying them out.

I give these gives 5 stars for 100% quality customers service and how professionally good they are at giving the haircut you ask for. The shop is also very welcoming greeting the customers as they walk into the shop. There is also entertainment, each chair has a tv in front of it playing sportcenter or whatever live sports game that is on when you go in. These guys are awesome and I wouldnt go to any other baber shop!

I have been going to this location for over a year. Eli is an experienced barber and gives great quality haircuts. He always provides excellent input in regards to hair styles. He cuts my 3 sons hair and they all feel comfortable with him. I highly recommend him.
