Just moved to NY from Miami last year. My barber was the longest relationship I left behind. 17 years, same barber. After checking out a few shops in the surrounding area (MadMen, Fresh City) I still wasnt getting what I needed. Found GoldCoast online and booked my first appointment with Anthony, extremely attentive, polite, engaging. 4 months later, Anthony is still my barber. I live in Brooklyn, home of all the awesome hipster barbers, and I still drive 45 minutes out to GoldCoast every week. All the guys are cool and engaging, as to be expected of a good shop. Small, elegant, mature space. I dont see myself at any other shop for the foreseeable future. Would recommend to anyone.

Best shop on LI, without a doubt. Expert classic barbers with a modern twist. Homegrown LI guys, Chris and Chase run a first-class operation in Syosset with friendly, reliable and professional customer service. The shop is immaculately clean and comfortable, the music is great and the overall experience is something the other places just cant seem to nail down the way these guys do. All made easier by a painlessly quick mobile/web booking tool, you can get your booking set when its convenient for you...without wasting an hour in a congested and loud waiting area. Good job guys.

A barber shop with a High End Salon Haircut. Ive modeled 35 years, with hair very important to me, and this is the best haircut Ive ever had. Chase listens to you and gives you exactly what you want and makes suggestions if you ask him. Gold Coast Barbers are very punctual with their hassle free, on line appointments. The shop is clean, up to date, very reasonably priced and Chase remembers each client personally. You gotta check this shop out.

Far and away the best haircut I have received on the Island. Chase cut my hair and was very attentive, precise, and friendly. He ensured the cut was what I wanted at each step and topped it all off with a straight razor shave on my neck. The shop was beautiful. The rest of the staff was very nice. Square appointments and payment made everything convenient and efficient.

Best Barbershop on the Island. The service and the people (Barbers) cant be beat! I get a cut from Chase and I look forward to going every single time I get a haircut or beard trim. Everything is well done and professional, from the shop, to the barbers, to the website. I love that I can easily go on the website choose my barber and schedule my personal appointment.

My hair is a challenge, and Im amazed Chase got it down the first time. We spoke about what was to be done before even cutting an inch, loved that. I do not live nearby but, for this kind of detail I think its worth the 1 hour drive from Brooklyn. Will revisit in the future. Highly recommend!
