I was passing through on a long trip and the fuse on my cigarette lighter blew, making it impossible to use my GPS to navigate. My phone was close to dying and I could not navigate. Tri star fixed my fuse in 20 mins while I waited on a busy day, allowing me to guickly continue on my way. And he cost was way less than I expected. I am so grateful for their kind, expert service. They did not need to fit me in on a busy day and went out of their way to help!!

John Opinion

The mechanics are OK BUT watch for their mark-up on the parts they use and money they charge (1) they use after market spare - NOT OEM parts and (2) they add any amount of markup I had a part (air fuel sensor - part# 234-9021) which is available for $149 or less from many retailers - charged to me for $250 i.e. $100 markup !! These guys told me "with a straight face" that the part costed $250 when they got an invoice for it that said $130 !!

This shop is by far the best!! In all my years driving & using a slew of different shops, I was lucky enough to have it recommended to me 6 yrs ago and have recommended it to many people! Its almost like a dream! A shop that actually does brilliant work, are absolutely honest & fair and customers all consider them friends!!! In this day & age, to find a local shop such as Tri-Star is a rare find! They are absolutely the best!!

My parents have been going to this mechanic for almost 20 years now. Siblings and I all bought our first (and in some cases, second) car here. I live in NJ, now but still take my care here for maintenance and care. The best and most trustworthy shop youre likely to find in all of northern Westchester. Most people already know this as its always crowded.
