The salon is reasonably priced. I usually spend $25 on a haircut, and this one cost $40, but it was $40 well spent. The girl washing my hair gave me the best massage. The stylist was informative, attentive, and I received a gift bag on the way out. I am very happy to have found a salon, so wonderful and relaxing, close to home. In addition, they support SBU and will be having a day in late October to benefit cancer, where all of the proceeds go to breast cancer, how wonderful!

Arame Salon and Spa is the best salon that Ive been to. Ive been coming here now for two and a half years for a cut, wash and blow dry (my sister and mom come here as well). I always feel so relaxed here due to a great environment, and also the very friendly staff. The final result of the haircut and styling is fabulous, and I always leave here feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Looking forward to coming here for many years to come!

First time going to Arame. I loved it. Alexa cut my hair and she was wonderful. She listened and gave me exactly what I wanted. Place was a little jewel. People lovely. And once again, Alexa gave me a beautiful haircut. I have gray hair, she never tried to talk me into color. Didnt do hard sell on product, which is always a turn off. Just listened and repaired a very bad cut into a beautiful cut. I am a fan!

I love this salon. The styists are professional and warm and most importantly know what they are doing. They LISTEN to their clients and always try to please. I have never been disappointed and Ive been a client for years. The owners respect their staff and offer them continual professional training which keeps everyone up to date on products and techniques. I recommend them to everyone I know.

Ive been going to Arame for over 16 years. Prior to that, the longest Ive ever stayed with a salon is about two years. The staff is wonderful. They are all well-educated in their craft and lovely to deal with. They actually listen, advise, discuss, all the things they should be doing. Always professional but warm and friendly as well. I would never go anywhere else.

Arame IS truly the jewel of Port Jeff. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and probably one of the most talented salons out there. If that wasnt enough Arames location makes it an extra treat as you can enjoy all Port has to offer after your hair appt!!

I love everything about this place. Their staff is courteous, thoughtful, and friendly. Ive been twice, once to have my roots touched up and once to have my hair cut and I plan on going back for more! Im very excited to have found such a nice salon!
