Personally, its been nothing but a pleasure coming to this Post Office. As a matter of fact, I look FORWARD to coming here with tax returns that need to be shipped Certified. Okay, thats an exaggeration, but still... never have had one issue. The staff is efficient, professional and friendly. To the person complaining about not being given certified labels/an attitude. Hm. Maybe the staff is, I dont know, tired of dealing with all the entitled customers in Purchase? I work down the street in one of three Corporate Campuses in the area. Have you seen the lines during tax season? It gets insane! Do you know how many return receipts/certified labels Ive requested alone? A hell of a lot! They go through those things like candy during tax season. So please, be mindful of others before writing a poor review, because no one rolled out the red carpet for you.

Two stars since everyone but this one staff member has always been nice, helpful, and respectful. I have been using this post office for awhile and have been telling people all over how the Purchase PO has the nicest staff. Ive even contact USPS (Lili is the nicest!). However there is a woman there, I dont remember her name but she was short Filipina with glasses. She is very condescending and repetitive. If you make a mistake she reprimands you like a child, repeatedly. Doesnt matter if you apologize, she keeps going and its rude. Shes done this to other people based on the reviews and from what my coworkers have experienced. She is really bringing your rating down.

This is the worst customer service post office that Ive ever dealt with. I came here with 42 mail that needs to be sent certified with a return receipt. The clerk was very unfriendly and seems irritated with an attitude since I am making her do her job. After everything was done I realized that I need more certified labels and return receipt. She ask where I am coming from and what my zip code was... I said that my office is right by the Westchester County Airport. She said she couldnt give me any because I dont belong in the zip code that they service. Ive never felt more discriminated against.

I requested insurance on a package I was shipping to California - when the package arrived, the item I thought I had insured was broken. I tried to file a claim and found, that the postal worker had not given me the insurance that I had requested. I am now out a $40 item and the agent I spoke with blamed me. What has happened to competent customer service? This is posted my Melody King, not Mackenzie since Google is automatically posting it under her name.

I dont understand why there have been such poor reviews of this USPS. Ive been here a bunch of times and the staff have been good to me.
