I have never written to a company to complain about customer service, but the way that I was treated yesterday was horrific. The packages that I have bought for Christmas that come through USPS have been declared "undeliverable". I called the USPS yesterday, and was told to show up at the Post Office near my house to speak to someone to correct this problem because they were holding my packages (5 of them!) They closed at 5:00, and I showed up at 5:02. I was told that I was not allowed to enter because they were closed. I asked if they could please just bring one package that I needed and keep the rest because this package has been lost for 10 days and I need it by the day after. I had my one-year old daughter in my arms in the snowstorm that was outside. I was told that if I wanted my package then "you shouldve come when we were open." I explained that I did my best to get there by 5 and that my packages were lost. I had a confirmation number because I had spoken to someone that day about getting my packages and was told that "that confirmation number does nothing for us". They said it wasnt their problem because they closed at 5. When I asked what time it was, I was told "Its closing time. Thats what time it is and YOU CAN LEAVE!" The man walking out of the post office made a comment about how rude and disrespectful they were towards me. In addition, none of this was said nicely or with any respect. It was yelled across the post office so loudly that I could hear it all through the closed glass doors that the security guard had to relay all of the messages because nobody would come and speak to me. I am very upset by this. The clerks name was Elaine. This post office needs to be looked at clearly and investigated. If you look online, they have nothing but horrible reviews about the way their staff speaks to customers. I am going to be taking this up with the office itself, the Headquarters, and the Post Master General. I am enraged at how I spoken to - she was condescending, rude and belittling. I am not going to stop until I receive an answer. Elaine shouldnt have any interaction with customers.

ordered some items for my rc truck from ebay a week ago seller sent the next day should have been here today!! i have been watching the site and tracking item it has been sitting in WHITE PLAINS, for 5 days now i am in Oregon btw ( i ordered some lights a week before for my rc plane from another seller they arrived in 3 days from ny package did not go through white plains) so far no updates just says received i saw the sort name i though why does that seem like i have dealt with them before then it dawned on me 3 years ago when i lived in ca i sent a package of hand made scale items for a friends radio controlled trucks who lives in ny it took 2 weeks for him to get it the package sat for a week in white plains when he received it the package was re-taped up and pretty much looked like the united states soccer team had kicked it around the whole postal office playing the world cup the box completely destroyed and items were missing and some broken now i wondering if i am going to even get what i bought which i need for tomorrows comp

THE WORST postal service. (I only gave it 1 star because I had to in order to leave my review) I never receive my mail, it either gets "lost" or returned to the sender. They never answer the phone, when you go in to ask for help with a missing package they politely tell you to F- off. They have no respect. Not one person knows what is going on in this place. Washington REALLY needs to step in and take control. Its a shame that there are certain things that you need to depend on your local post office for and you can NEVER depend on this facility. Every single day there is a different person delivering my mail to my house, each of which are never in uniform. Half of them dont even put my mail in the actual mailbox. I find my mail on the front steps at least once a week. Not to mention that I ALWAYS receive other mail that doesnt have my address on it. Itll have someones address who lives 5 blocks away. Its time to fire and rehire and organize and straighten out this facility once and for all.

If I could leave negative stars I would. registered package (of MEDS!!) scheduled for Saturday redelivery never showed up. Called to register a complaint. They told me at the 800# I would be better off going in and getting it and that someone would follow up with me in 2 days. 10 days later I get a random phone call at work from someone who does not identify themselves and launches into a bit about not being able to find the package and that it never arrived at the office. I have no idea what he is talking about and had to ask him who he was and where he was calling from. for the record Jesus! Incompetent would be a gross understatement. I called back and they do not pick up the phone at that location. I have put in a call to the Post Master of course no one answers there either. Is there any wonder why this is a failing agency and that people are no longer using USPS? The USPS needs a complete overhaul, It would not hurt my feelings if this place was one of the branches that closes?

Worst customer service inside the place, In 2014 alone Ive had 2 parcels make it to White Plains PO and suddenly disappeared. TWICE. I am convinced the postmaster or someone/s are thieves. No point in calling because theyre going to talk to you like your a piece of turd in person anyway. Every desk clerk has some holier than thou attitude. When I call in EARLY to call and try to have my package held to be intercepted by myself if I come to the PO Im told this cant be done as they get too many packages (thats if they even pick up their phone) Too top things off when I once asked my carrier about their lack of service I was told I was a "pain in the ass" If there was another alternate method of receiving my regular mail. Id be all over it no matter the cost. This reflects our economy perfectly IMO.

Can I give less than a "ZERO"?!! This post office never delivered two packages I ordered from two different retailers, from two different places in the country. Both packages are lost, I have been waiting for them to deliver for three weeks. When I track the packages, it just says "Information has not been updated". I have called many, many times - you cannot reach this post office, only the 1-800-customer service one. I have filed numerous claims and am always told someone will call me. Yeah, right. I am out about $200, because the retailers I purchased from have done their job and it is not their fault. Hope the postmaster is enjoying my items, I can only surmise they are thieves. I can only give one suggestion to anyone who wants to order something that needs to be shipped: FED EX.
