My name is Monique Wallace Navy Vet and resident of Borough Park Brooklyn. Today 10/28/2015 My 81 year old grandmother sent me to the post office at the Blythbourne Station in Borough Park for some stamps, now I go to the post office all the time for money orders for rent for two years now. Today a postal clerk who always gives me problems took my id and my cards because she thought I stole someone card. I calmly told her it was my grandmothers card and would be happy to go home and get her ID. They were only happy with my 81 year old (disabled with lung cancer) grandmother coming to the post office to prove her identity, now my grandmother is very sick with copd and cannot move around well. So today in the pouring rain she was forced to come to the post office. But before she got there the Feds were called. Why call the Feds when I said my grandmother was on the way. They took me to the back room and held me there interrogating me on my ID and if I worked or not I felt so embarrassed I got not even an apology from the postal clerk or the Feds. Now I understand that there are certain precautions that need to be taken with so many identity thefts going around but I was there the day before and I am a Navy vet with PTSD I fought for this country just to be violated just because of my color at a federal office! I would expect this in San Diego where I lived or down south but not NY.

The only way that I can publish a review is if I give at least one star. Sounds good for them, I guess this is way for them to gather some stars. Honestly I have yet to go to a GOOD post office anywhere. BUT THIS ONE IS ABOVE & BEYOND AWFUL. Words cant express how AWFUL this post office is. I would be ashamed to wake up & go to work there. AVOID going in a one block radius of this location. It can piss you off just seeing the post office. I have never in my life dealt with so many unprofessional people all one location. Who ever is hiring needs to be fired & then try again or they should just close down. Its not a normal thing that anyone should have to pay for a service & then deal with the crap that comes with trying to get anything from this post office. You think waiting in line is bad there? Just trying calling on the phone. You can try for hours straight & never get anyone. I can go on forever about how awful they are. Do yourself a favor & dont ever deal with them

The worst in the whole United States!!!! I am pregnant and they never bother to knock on my door nor did they leave my package by the door. They left a note saying they will attempt 3 more times during the week ( which it never happen and I was home al the time) I called Sistine service and has to wait 1hr to get in touch with them 1 HOUR!!!! Once I got in touch with them I exposed them my problem they said they will re deliver the next day and guess what???? NOTHING!!!!!!! A single mom home sick and pregnant they didnt care about dropping my heavy package right on my door steps thats not all when you go see them at the office they see your situation and dont even care. They welcome you and greet you with an angry face like the people there did something wrong to them. This is how United States postal services works or anything that has to do with the goverment.

I wasnt home when the mailman left a delivery notice about a certified mail. Next day I went to the post office and after 1/2 hour of waiting in the line I handed the notice to the clerk whom spent another half an hour behind the wall to check my mail.When she returned she said she couldnt give it to me, because my mail is still @ the mailman. I suspected she was lying to me so instead of living I went back to the end of the line. After another half an hour another clark simple gave it to me my mail! Today I was keep trying to call them but the phone is off the hook. The office is already closed but the phone is still off the hook, I suppose they just forgot to put it back after they were living the office! Horrible service, one of the worst of the country!

Hi Im standing here right now and I have to say Im disgusted with the treatment Im receiving. This stupid b**ch thats supposed to help is the nastiest rudest women out there . I wish I could give a negative star. She is taking her time when we made an appointment and its already been a while since , people schedule their lunch breaks from work around this appointment and shes taking her merry time and speaking really snobby and disgustingly to all of us waiting here. Also this neighborhood is primarily Jewish and Asian and she is completely disregarding any of us and going straight to her kind. She should be fired .

The employees in here dont know how to do their job. This one time they kept returning my package twice because they said thay there is no send to address listed. Amazon returning label has a barcode that needs to be scanned for the address. Obviously, these idiots dont know how to "scan" a piece of paper. I went to a diff post office and these guys actually shipped it. The employees over this PO also take their sweet time and with only 2 or 3 employees windows opened at a time! Avoid at all cost. I dread the fact that this is my local post office. Were better off with monkeys getting the job done!

This Old Postman Driver Stealing my parcel! Is the Third time for this year! I found that drivers often forget to ring the doorbell, and once he took my five boxes parcels on the outside ,and then run away,Never right the doorbell . In my memory, he did not wait for me to open the door once, Before walk away. The part time young postman is not the same, he is very professional . always Make sure you are parcel owner ,and then go away, even if its raining I have been disappointed about this postman and his post office.
