The woman in the skin department was very helpful, super sweet and helped me pick out exactly what I needed! Ive had many great experiences with the employees here who have been equally as nice and helpful. One of the managers, Lisa, I must say is consistently unprofessional and rude. If it werent for the other helpful employees I would never come back. Last night a foreign man was asking for advice on where to find the nearest bus stop and she could not have cared less. She laughed and said "how would I know" then told him "walk towards the mall". When he asked where the mall is she simply pointed and said somewhere that way. He left very confused and obviously embarrassed. An older woman came to ask about prices on a hair product she was thinking of trying and the manager laughed in her face and said "we dont do discount pricing here". The older woman asked her about the same product she saw that wegmans carried and she simply responded "you shouldnt trust wegmans products, theyre fake". Not only was the older woman confused but she ended up putting her items back because the manager was so unwelcoming. When I was checking out she spent 1/2 her time chatting with other employees on her headseat, again with the giggling, and calling them brats. Truthfully this is the closest ulta to me and some of the employees are awesome, but because of her constant lack of kindness/professionalism I doubt Ill be returning. Pretty awful representation of the rest of the staff.

This store is so so bad. I walked in 20 mins before close with a list in my hand and no one offered to help me. I had a list of about 10 products I needed to buy but because no one offered to help me(thus making me feel like an inconvenience in their workday) I walked out. I work in retail also, I understand it sucks at the end of the day, but I was a customer who rushed to get there at the end of her day and I would like some service. Ill be going to sophera next time because Id like some service.

The location is highly claustrophobic. Things are crammed into a very small storefront. They also do not carry Jack Black for Men which seems so dumb considering theyre right by the colleges. The store is more narrow shaped versus wide and it makes it a very unpleasant experience to shop in. A whole lot of nothing compared to any other Ulta I have been in both in and out of the Rochester area.

They dont carry sunscreen in the store, if youre looking for that. If you want a suncreen that leaves white streaks behind they do carry some of those, but like nothing cosmetically elegant. Otherwise theyve got basically everything.
