I normally do not post reviews either, but I am inclined to post a review in defense of this daycare as well. My son has been attending this center since March 2010. While he went through a rough patch at the beginning due to separation anxiety, the administrators and the teachers were, for the most part, very supportive and comforting to him when it came time for me to leave him. Miss Jessica was a little brusque at times, but she is no longer at the daycare facility so that is a non-issue. The other teachers in the toddler classroom are great and both my mom and I really like Miss Lisa. (We really do!) She is very caring and kind, and is always there to hold and hug my son when it looks like he is about to cry as I drop him off in the mornings. My mother recently had knee surgery and ambulates with significant difficulty. When she goes to pick my son up in the afternoons, the teachers observe her coming through the windows and usually have my son ready for her. On occasion, they have even escorted him out to my moms car or have allowed her to use the back door entrance so that she does not have to walk too much. My son really likes this center (he calls it "school") and lately, more often than not, he actually looks forward to going and seeing his friends. I am a first-time mom, and was very cautious about selecting a daycare for my only pride and joy. The hours at Bumblebees-r-Us are great (they are open from 7am to 7pm) and the monthly cost is more than reasonable. I am happy with my selection and would encourage any other parents currently looking for a daycare center to visit and make up their own minds, instead of letting the ramblings of a random disgruntled parent who doesnt even know how to spell, cloud their judgment.

Im currently in the military and this year we had to move. We had been stationed in Virginia for the last 5 years and had gotten orders to Japan. Not knowing what it was going to be like, I chose to leave my 4 year old daughter with my mother in New York until I could get settled in. I went to several day cares in the area looking for the right one for my daughter. I came across Bumblebees R Us and took a look around. I must say I was a little hesitant because it was the most affordable of all. I let my daughter choose which day care she wanted to attend and she chose Bumblebees. I left to Japan and returned three months later to get her. I was EXTREMELY impressed with the care my daughter received. There was not one day my daughter didnt want to go to day care and not one day she didnt want to leave! They treated my daughter as if she were one of their own. Whenever I would talk to my daughter, all she would talk about was day care. Leaving a child behind for any amount of time has got to be the hardest thing anyone ever has to do. Knowing that she was well taken care of definately helped ease the pain. Thank you Miss Brittany and thank you Ms. Shari. I recommend Bumblebees 100% to any parent!

Pchizer, the good reviews here are not from the staff but from real, live parents. Seriously, pchizer, you obviously have some anger management issues that you need to address. For example, dont you know its very discourteous to use all CAPS when making statements on the internet? No one needs you to yell. And your spelling and syntax leave much to be desired. If you have an issue with the center, speak to the administrator and handle it as an adult should. Dont post wild negative reviews that are completely unfounded. Apparently, addressing the situation like an adult is a bit much for you. As I stated in my previous review, my son, my mother, and I have been happy with this daycare and we have found the staff and the administrator very helpful and sweet. We will be sad to say good-bye at the end of this month when my son leaves for pre-school, but we will take fond memories away along with pictures of all of my sons first "classmates." Parents, dont let the lunatic fishwife ravings of a disgruntled parent steer you away from this daycare center. A big shout-out to Miss Debra for all the help shes given my mom with my son! :)

I have been on leave of absence from work since having my daughter in 2008. Finding work that would allow me to continue to care for my baby proved most difficult. I was approached to consider working the Day Care as it accepts children as young as 1 year old. My little girl would be able to attend the Day Care while I worked in an adjacent classroom. From the top down, the people at Bumblebee are caring, compassionate, and love their work. The Day Care makes every effort to accommodate to the needs of each and every child. I learned how important tailoring classroom time is to the abilities and needs of the kids can be. I watched my little girl grow, just by the simple daily affection her classroom teachers had for her. From the good morning at the door, to breakfast prepared fresh each morning, through the nutritious lunches and snacks, I watched my students as well as my little girl grow both physically and emotionally. I would recommend the Day Care as a great place to work as well as for your child to spend a day learning and growing.

I have a 3 year old daughter who currently attends Bumblebees r us, she has been there for three months. This is her first experience outside of the home and she loves it. From the very first day we arrived, the staff has been friendly, loving, caring and enjoyable. My daughter comes home singing and reciting stories she has heard throughout the day. All of her teachers are enthusiastic about their work, about my child and her day. The facilities are immaculate. The teachers and assistants keep the classrooms tidy and the children clean. My daughter paints, colors, plays all sorts of games and does so in a well controlled classroom environment. In appropriate weather the children go out and play in the wonderful playground on the premises. From the lovely lady at the front desk to the charming director, greeting each child by name, I could not have asked for a better beginning to my childs experience outside the home. I recommend Bumblebees 100%; it is a cheerful and loving environment.

My husband and I are both educators and have been sending our twin sons here since they were one (they are now two). We have been very happy with the staff and the care the children have received during this time and are planning to send our third child here as well. In fact, we drive out of our way every day for the children to go here. Contrary to what the prior reviewer wrote, we have never experienced a security issue with the center or any inappropriate behavior by the staff. Nor have any of their materials been lost or misplaced. For the most part, we have experienced very loving teachers who treat our family with the utmost respect. I usually do not post these reviews, but I do want to defend the center and say that the negative reviews are not shared by all parents. In fact, even after a long day, our boys are not rushing out the door!
