Rarely do I go online to write a review for anything; however I feel compelled to tell you about my experience and RedCarpetKids. Both my 1 year old and 2 ½ year old have been attending daycare there for the past year. This most recent experience has left me speechless. On 8/17/17 I went to pick my daughter up out of the baby room one of the teachers in that room is Mrs. Roxanna. She let me know that my daughter had slept for five hours. I completely brush that experience off as my daughter was just drowsy from the allergy medication she had taken earlier that day, so the next day on Friday the 18th when I picked her up from school they let me know that she was slightly cranky but otherwise had a good day. Mrs. Roxanna had gone for the evening because I was picking her up a little later than normal. The teacher had left a package for me to give to my son so when later that evening I called her to thank her for the gift she let me know in that conversation that my newly turned one-year-old looked a little different she wasnt running a fever, she had no runny nose or no symptoms of any virus or cold however something in the teachers spirit made her feel like that child looked a little different. She was convinced that this was not the normal baby that she takes care of five days a week, with her urging I decided to take my daughter to p.m. pediatrics in Springfield upon arriving there I let the doctors know that there were really no symptoms I could see the besides of runny nose for allergies but that the daycare representative was convinced that something looked a little off. After being examined the doctors determined that her oxygen level was very low and that she needed to be put on a nebulizer machine after 15 minutes of a treatment the doctor came back in and let me know that she had upper respiratory infection that could be turning into pneumonia and the reason that she had a five hour nap the day before is because shes been having a problem breathing and low oxygen levels can cause lethargic behavior. The doctor then told me I needed to give her a nebulizer treatment every four hours for the next 48 hours and for her to be reexamined again to rule out pneumonia. If I would not have taken her to the urgent care at the time I did her next nap might have trigger some tragic event.. The purpose of this long review is to just give that day care the credit that they deserve having and hiring the type of employee that are paying such close attention to children that they can spot the slightest thing thats off and notify parents. I dont know where I would be or what I wouldve done. Here is what I can tell you, the story with my daughter would have ended differently. Mrs. Roxanna saved her life, she knew something was wrong and was so I in tuned to the infants in the baby room that she could convince me a veteran mom of (3). Saying thank you does not capture my gratitude. Everyone in this childcare center is family focus and children lead. This is my first time dealing with a daycare and I have to say I could not be more pleased with the type of care both of my children are receiving. From the Director to the staff they are the best..

My child was enrolled at RCK about 2 years ago. We never had any issues with Jennifer. I will say she wears more than one cap in that place, they desperately need an administrative staff. Jennifer takes, calls, payments, meets with parents, covers for teachers who are out, late or whatever. Safety was on point, you had to be buzzed in at all times. I never saw anyone hanging out the door talking to anyone. Now on to the not so good. My son was autistic and they knew this going in. He seemed happy there and I would show up at different times and sit in the cut and watch. What I didnt like was I came early one afternoon and saw all of the children at one table working on a project, while my son was at a table alone playing with whatever he wanted and no one to help him with the project. I watched for a good 10 minutes before an aide saw me and then suddenly wanted to walk over and act like she was helping him. I called them on it immediately. Now the real shock was, this place was a teacher was hitting a child in my sons class. So they fired the teacher, but tried to contain the fallout by keeping the situation in house. No other parents in that class were notified of what had happened, just in case there were other victims. That was was the match that lit the fire to me. How dare you cover up something like that. Thankfully I pulled my son out the week before this was discovered because he can be a handful, not to mention he did not talk at the time and wouldnt have been able to tell us what was going on. Those parents were better than me, because the cops would have had to pull me off of that teacher and that facility would for sure have a new owner

To start Stephanie is just upset that she got fired because she mistreated a children and that red carpet made sure that she would never be able to work with kids again anywhere and she wont be to get unemployment, and second the first reviewer is talking about the teachers are uneducated was talking about herself because clearly in her review she could not spell. Red carpets kids is a very good place and the teachers take the time to care and look after these children as if they are there own. The reviews are ignorant, uneducated people that are very upset because red carpet let go of the trash and chose to tell lies. I have seen children who have come to the daycare and look like they havent even or been looked after in days and the teachers will clean them up, even on their breaks take the time to go out and buy things with there own money to look after the kids and they give them so much love the children love being at the daycare. I recommend this daycare to anyone and everyone your child will be looked after and loved. The teachers will love your children you, and they will not take their eyes off them not even a second, and the kids learn a lot. I currently dont work there but because of the love and family it has made me want to be a teacher so I am going back to school, but when I saw these review I had to speak up and let the truth be know these people are just upset because they lost there jobs.

I think a 1 star is over rated for this place. The workers are ghetto, theres always hang outs out front of the business with the workers and their friends blasting loud music with profanity. My son lasted there for a week. Reason being one of his "teachers" i had witnessed her yanking on my son arm forcing him to sit on the floor outside in the play yard. My son was scared of her and always begged me to not go to school in the mornings. The teachers attention wasnt addressed instead my sons class wasnt allowed to go outside anymore because they knew i had an eye out making sure the disrespect and aggressiveness would not happen again. The place always smelled like pee and garbage. My son would come home smelling just like the inside of that place and thats not a good comment. Once program for parents accepted my request to switch him i did ASAP. never again. Definitely will not ever recommend anyone to this trashy place. I feel so bad that these kids are in there throughout all those hours dealing with their unprofessional staff.
