Dont be fooled by the cute color blocks!! This place is horrible The staff is constantly changing and they are all young and inexperienced. There is literally a new person every week... I choose this place because it is very close to my home and initially, it wasnt so bad but my baby has been sick every month since we have placed her in their care. She was placed there when she was 6 months old and she is now going on 11 months. She has gotten everything from the common cold here to more dangerous problems. I dont mean just the sniffles but stuff that are more serious like COXSACKIE which IS A DISEASE WHERE THE BABY IS COVERED IN water blisters doesnt sleep at night due to body aches and high fevers this can all lead to lethal problems. She has also gotten high fevers, pink eye you name it she has had it. The only thing she has learned in the learning experience is pain and suffering. Also all parents. BE AWARE that the toddlers room is a complete disaster. The kids are doing whatever they want most of the time yelling and screaming around or being yelled at. Well all the foundation we are supposed to lay down is completely wasted here. Not an educational environment for the growing minds. The kids usually bite each other or pull each others hair. I dont want to write anymore about all of my frustrations... I am hoping you would not have to make desperate decisions as I did about placing my child here. Please keep looking. The cute little art work that they bring home... isnt theirs... which ever baby is the easy going one, who is willing to make hand prints or whatever... who is the one that does it for the rest of them. There is so many details I will like to leave out which I will...

We had our boy, 20 months now, first attend a "mom and pop" center close to our home. They were wonderful. Life changed, jobs changed and little Richies needs began to change. We moved him over to The Learning Experience in Waldwick because of the good name, and academics. Being in childcare myself, I knew it was time. We thought the transition would be easy considering Richies temperament and his overall experiences in childcare starting from 6 months. It didnt go as planned. He had a very tough transition and it was "killing" us. We questioned whether or not we made the right choice. Well, because of the staff and the leadership there, after a few rough days, Richie started to blossom. The teachers went out of their way to make his transition an easy and comfortable one. They sent pictures and videos throughout the day showing how happy our son was, and how much he started learning. AMAZING. They teach sign language, age appropriate lessons as well as character education. Richie started talking more, with a much better grasp of phonics and whole language concepts. Hes learned how to share and to even say please and thank you. Even his eating habits improved. The staff, including the owners, took the time to work with him and make us all feel comfortable and relieved. Now, Richie runs to the door in the morning with his back pack waiting for us to drop him off at "school" as Richie refers to it. Now, he only cries when we pick him up to got home :) Really great job everyone-thank you for all that you do. Rich and Marcia

As a first-time mom, I was anxious bringing my baby to daycare, but my fears were quickly allayed after my daughters first day at TLE Waldwick. Her teachers and other staff are fantastic, her social development has skyrocketed and she learns something new every day! We have been a part of the TLE family for almost a year now and couldnt be happier. I highly recommend it!
