Very disappointed with this companys overall performance. I hired them to take care of a home inspection report for the sale of my home. They estimated $1535 for two days work, worked only one day, and still charged me $1535. Several of the items that were estimated to be replaced, upon inspection, required a less than five minute repair or no repair at all. Nonetheless, I was charged the same. Although they were prompt and courteous, I feel like I paid dearly for that. By my calculation, I paid about $100 an hour for their labor, which I think is outrageous. A re-inspection of their repairs showed that the repairs were not satisfactory. I had to pay another company $550 to complete the work in time to close on the sale. Also, I did not like the fact that they offered a $25 discount if the customer would write a review on their website. They actually got on the computer with me before they left to start the review. It felt very much like their 5 Star Rating was being "purchased". I would NOT recommend this company.

Brian was absolutely wonderful!!! He took care of all my repairs and worked very, very hard to make sure everything was to my liking. I could tell immediately that Brian takes pride in his work and enjoys what he does. He is so nice and very easy to talk to. He walked around with me as I showed him everything I needed fixed and he performed a thorough diagnostic on each repair. He went to the store and got any additional supplies needed to finish the job and returned promptly. What he did in one day would have taken me weeks and probably months to finish. He is very knowledgeable in repairs and installations and Im amazed how one person can fix just about anything in a house!! I am very pleased with the finished product and would definitely recommend Call 1 Home Repairs and especially Brian to anybody needing repairs, installations, and just an expert opinion on anything related to fixing up their home.

I called Call 1 Home Services on Monday morning this week to see if they could tackle hanging a TV on a wall, along with running coaxial and power to a location behind the TV, and was advised that I should send a text to that number with my contact information and project info - which I did. I also advised the gentleman who answered that I had a laundry list of projects that need addressing in our new home, and that if this project went off well, I would retain them for further services. Here it is, two full days later and nothing but crickets. The gentleman who answered the phone was polite and professional, but our contact, and his interest in the work, ended there. I will move on to another contractor who might need the business enough to respond in a more timely manner.

This good review is truly well-deserved. I found your website through a simple web search and a prayer as I have been having other unfavorable experiences with other home repair services in Charlotte. I currently live in Georgia, so it is a challenge to find reliable people at a distance. I called Paul Kerr and he and his team were at my place the next day beginning the repairs. They found lots of water damage but were honest about what it would take to fix it. More importantly, they did so in a very fast , efficient, and professional manner. I received photographs of every step and this was reassuring. Thank you so much for restoring my faith in home repair services. Paul and Brian came to our home and appraised the fan and lighting installation we needed, gave us a quote and a time for next week to do the work. Today 5/15/2014 they called and let us know that if our schedule allowed it that they could do the work today. When they showed up they were prompt, professional, personable, and friendly. The work was done in a timely manner, with a smile on their faces, the pricing was reasonable, and they gave an all around great experience. People like Paul and Brian are the reason me and my family will be making Call 1 Home Services the first call on our list to have any improvements that need to be done. these guys are the types of people in my opinion that keep customers loyal to the company.

Today, 1/15/2014, Brian did a great job with the minor repairs we needed. From reattaching a door frame, reattaching trim, to changing lights that we cant reach on a normal size ladder. We actually had a toilet that had just broken the night before, and he ran out to get the part we needed and fixed it on the spot. He talked us through things to make sure we understood the issue and what he was going to do. Everything was done in a professional and timely manner. He left everything in order. We certainly will call upon 1 Home Repair again! Roger H.

Two men tried and failed: my light fixture in my bath kept falling off the wall. I contacted four handy-men and no one answered their phone EXCEPT this man: Paul! He calmed me when I was at my wits end. Brian came the next evening and not only did he fixed and stabilize the light fixture, but he completed an additional job with a light fixture to my guest bathroom. Paul and Mike came to my home to repair a list of things that needed to be done. I recently sold the home and the new buyer, and the buyer wanted everything fixed....Call 1 Home Repair to the rescue! Paul got back to me the same day I inquired about getting these things done, and was honest and forthcoming about every issue I had. He came out the next day and got me all squared away. Call 1 Home Services is great. We have used them for years for repairs on our 40+ year old home. Most recently they repaired some major water and termite damage to an area just beneath our roof. You could see from the outside into the attic. They repaired the damage beautifully, and identified other issues. Paul and Brian also repaired a dryer vent under the house. They are courteous, friendly and professional, clearly explaining everything as they went along. I highly recommend them.
