Good Morning Ladies/Gentleman. I highly recommend Ellington Funeral Services!!!! ELLINGTON FUNERAL SERVICES IS A MAGICAL ESTABLISHMENT. If you are looking for a funeral services for your love one look no further. Ellington Funeral Services staff were warm, loving, professional and comforting to my family. The Ellington staff catered to my family from the first visit to their establishment until present. They extended their love to my family before, during and after the funeral services to make sure all was well with us while inquiring if they could do anything else to assist in comforting us. I would like to give a special Thank you, to Mr. Tom for making my father look as if he was peacefully asleep. Mr. Tom you did an awesome job on my dad. You are great at what you do. Keep up the good work. I would also like to give my SINCEREST, THANK YOU, to Mr. Derek. Mr. Derek you are an amazing man. Your love to help others are endless. The love you extended to my family and I was beyond the skies limit and again I say, "THANK YOU". You went over and beyond your jobs responsibilities to assist us, to comfort us, while extending open arms of love during a difficult time for my family who traveled from near and far. I greatly appreciate all of your diligent efforts . You personally comforted us, guided us, directed us, and recommended things to us that would help us to know and believe that our deceased loved one was at peace and in good hands. We were so happy with everything the Ellington Funeral Services company did or us. The first night of our Viewing Mr. Ellington himself was in attendance to ensure everything was perfect. Our Funeral Director was Mr. Derek Hunter, and he went way above and beyond. Not only did they do an amazing job on preparation of the body, Derek went out of his way in the set up of the funeral home with displaying the Art of our deceased, and providing every little thing to actually at the last minute finding a certain poem and printing it out for a relative to read during the viewing. The facility was spectacular, and the flow and layout was perfect to receive our friends and family for the viewing. They did so much extra work - that was not part of the contract - right down to personally delivering the Death Certificates to our Office so we didnt lose another day. Derek, Mr. Ellington & the entire Ellington Team - Thanks you so much from the bottom of my heart for all the good work you did with the Funeral Services you provided our Family!

Derek, Tommy and other staff members of EFS always go above and beyond to serve families. Family owned is what makes a difference here. No push from corporate to sell products or services. Families get what they want, and more! One-on-one personable attention from staff to answer any questions, concerns, or to assist families any way possible. Offering a clean, historic facility with a chapel on the western end that will hold up to 350 people. A venue large enough to accommodate any size family and friends. No other funeral home can boast that. Convenience and top notch service above the rest!

There is no better funeral then Carl M Ellington, they are the best. When my mother passed away Derek the funeral director took care of everything. I live in South Florida and I called him early on a Sunday morning that my mother passed away in North Carolina. He immediately took charge and took care of everything for me while I made preparations to fly up. By the time I arrived that afternoon, my mother was safely in the funeral parlor. The respect, the honor, the kindness they showed, top notch. It doesnt get better then them. Everything our family and friends asked for they obliged. Even now months after Derek still keeps our family in mind. Trust me, you will be in good hands with Derek, I promise you. Our family is forever greatful to him. Victor

They treated my nana and our entire family with sure honor and care. She was my best friend and losing her is hard enough, Derek, Tommy and Ellington staff took care of anything and everything we needed. I would like to let everyone know how delighted our family was with the service that Ellington Funeral Home provided. Derek Hunter worked with us, at our convenience, to take care of the needs of our family when our brother passed away recently.
