I have been a client at Major Barbershop since they opened over a year ago. Location: conveniently located in the heart of Dilworth with private parking and easy access. Service: Second to none. Easy to schedule an appointment, great small salon environment and always a great cut. Value: I have not find another salon that offers a full service haircut for a better price. Things to note: Make an appointment, be on time and the service is exceptional. They can usually get you in for a haircut the same day or next day, but like any service provider you have to do your part, schedule an appointment, be on time. I highly recommend Niki who has never disappointed me since I moved to Charlotte two years ago.

Awesome shop!!! Simply got tired of getting lackluster haircuts from the large chains where they rush you in and out and its always a guessing game as to the service you will receive. During my search for a more local shop, I came across Major Barbershop. Honestly, I chose them because their prices were cheaper than all other professional barbershops in the area. I am glad I did! Niki cut my hair and she did a fantastic job! Way more attention to detail than I was used to getting at the chain places. Service was generally great and I even got a complimentary beer! I will definitely be a returning customer. Oh and also, they have an AWESOME dog that roams the shop!

The first time I visited this place, I had a good experience with the owners daughter. However on my return visit, I was serviced by the owner herself and was severely disappointed. I found the owner rude and she cut my hair rather hastily. She did not even bother dusting the excess hair off my face and skipped my shampoo yet still charged me full price which was $15 more than what I paid last time. Granted, I was slightly late for my appointment - traffic is a nightmare when commuting during rush hours - but I still expected a decent service. Tipped pretty well but last Im ever visiting this place. Spend your time elsewhere.

Once I started going here I havent been anywhere else! They always have a good collection of complimentary beer and Im always happy with the haircut. I always make an appointment with Niki in advance and I have never had to wait. I get the normal service which includes the cut, wash and condition with a hot towel, neck shave and a quick dry. Its on the top floor of a building shared by another business, so it was kind of hard to find at first. The parking lot is hidden in the back.

I recently spent two months in Miami for work. My girlfriend asked if I could not get a haircut in Miami and wait until I came back home. She loves how Niki cuts my hair. And I was happy to wait. These ladies are great at what they do.
