This place is close to where I live, so I have gone here a few times despite some bad experiences. The people cutting hair seem to not want to be there and act like its a chore that you ask them to cut your hair. Pretty weird behavior for a barber shop, huh? One time, I waited for 5 minutes while one of the barbers finished reading his newspaper - then he reluctantly called me up and gave me maybe one of the worst haircuts I have ever had. I question if he was a barber, or just someone hanging out there to earn a few bucks. So the last straw was when I showed up at 5:25 to get a haircut for my son and one of the guys told me to come back tomorrow since the two people there were in the middle of giving haircuts (the other guy didnt even acknowledge me). This was after my wife had called about 30 minutes prior to confirm that he could get a haircut as long as we got there before 6:00. Thats fine if you dont want to accept walk-ins after 5:00 or 5:30 or whatever, but at least make that clear before people drive out there. I went down the street to Great Clips and got my son a great haircut from a pleasant person for half the price despite the two people there also being in the middle of giving haircuts. I really wanted to like this place...

This is exactly what a barber shop is supposed to be. When I get to be in Charlotte I make it a point to come here to get my hair cut and shave. Honestly the hair cuts I get at Cotswold are the best I have ever had. Have always seen Robert and David, both are masters of their craft and I would recommend them to anyone!

Cant believe this place has any good reviews. It is very dirty and unclean. I will never go here again. I would recommend great Clips over this place. My haircut was uneven and looked like a 3 year old cut it.
