I used Movie Time Video for a year and my wife for about 5 years. My family rents 5 to 7 movies per visit and when the movies are late and it was our fault, we simply pay the fees. During a recent visit, we rented a few movies (two of them were great and one was a terrible movie). We returned all but one movie called When in Rome, since we did not have the time to watch it. (aware that there would be a $1 late charge) After being busy for about 8 straight days, we returned to Movi Time to find that we had $9 in late fees. The incredible thing was that it was the movie that absolutely sucked AND the manager stated that the movie was never returned. I explained the mistake to the new manager , Rhonda, a loud woman with a nose ring who often could be heard on personal calls asking "What kind of beer you want me to get tonight?" The next day I receved a phone call from a worker at the store claiming that the video box was found but not the movie. This was uncanny and explained further that there must be a store mistake. I called Rhonda and she was rude, exclaiming that she "caint much understand fast talkin and you need to call back" and that the "Owner is name Zan and he lives in Tennessee and he dont much come round the store and aint her problem" With late fees now accruing, I received another call two days later from a store worker stating that the video was found on the floor. When I called Rhonda I was told I had $11 in late fees and I "musta come in and hid the movie there". Rhonda refused to work with me, and This is the one time in life that I actually feel I had the worst customer service at a company. The manager, Rhonda, not only did not care about the level of service I got, but also showed me by saying "Well why dontcha just go use REDBOX at Walmart to rent your movies" I am disappointed with MOVIETIME & will report this to the Better Business Bureau. Really wish that there was another movie rental store in this town because this place is absolutely terrible. First, I went there after not going there for about 2 months to find that I had a late fee that I had no idea about, especially when I know I turned my movies back in on time. That caused me to pay $8 to rent one movie. Still, I decided to go back the next day to try again and get another movie and the employees would not let me in the store. I was there at 10:45 and the open sign was still on and the store hours on the entrance clearly say they close at 11. This is absolutely ridiculous and I will not be going back unless I can find out a way to talk to the manager/owner!

Is it just me, or have they hired the worst person to run this place. Terrible Hick, charges us for movies being late when we turn them in to her face and she sets them aside. Dresses like she woke up from a dum[ster and put her nose ring in wrong. I hate MOVIE TIME who is the owner? How do I get ahold of the owner! -st-

Im so thankful that we have a video store in this small town. To make things even better its independently owned and everything is a dollar a day. Take that redbox!! It has new releases as well as some oldies. Its not a blockbuster but itll provide you a decent movie collection.

I will never rent here in Sylva again. Manager told me she dont care when I told her and said my credit card will get charged for movies late when I got all 3 before 7pm and they didnt check them in. Screw Movietime!

This dump is the $1 monopoly in this town! Where else can we rent? I say Redbox at Walmart on the left entry side! Terrible manager. Cereal box education and obvious inbred! Wont be back!

What is with the terrible service in the Movie Time Video since new management? Ronda with the nose ring is rude and does not care about customer experience. Fire her!! Who owns this place?

I love how they have old movies that Redbox does not carry plus they have good deals and movie on sale for cheaper then Wal-Mart.
