I have had several experiences with changing locks before which consisted of buying them at Home Depot or Lowes and having them changed. I believed that this was the most cost effective way until I called an actual locksmith. Instead of the process taking a day to buy the locks and scheduling a handy person, the locksmith disclosed to me that he could have someone out at my home within the hour, which I thought was pretty good given that I had no emergency (wasnt locked out). Thomas arrived and showed me what a true professional is like. His enthusiasm and expertise shines in comparison to that of my handy person I had paid much more money previously. I am very impressed with Thomas and his company and continue to be impressed with each and every interaction. I would like to add that my dogs were also impressed with the locksmith which truly says he is a good professional as my dogs have a sixth sense. I am very happy and impressed, and would happily recommend this company to anyone. I would like to add also that when I called, the phone was immediately answered as opposed to the competition which failed to call me back, or at least by the time they do, it will be too late! Very impressed with Thomas and his leadership. Not only did I avoid making a single trip; I didnt have to life a finger!

Eric was recommended to us from one of our neighbors. Our home was previously a rental home before we purchased it so we wanted all 7 locks rekeyed and one replaced due to not functioning correctly. Eric was able to schedule us in quickly. Not only did Eric arrive on time, finish the job about 40 minutes sooner than expected, but he was also able to cut the cost by 25% by being able to repair the lock we thought needed replacing. This was a surprise to us and really showed that he was not "all about the money". He could have simply replaced the old lock like we had requested and made more money without saying anything to us. Instead, he based his decisions and advice off of what was the morally right thing to do. This clearly showed that he was not in the business of taking advantage of people. He also gave me some new tips on lock types and procedures for safety purposes. Eric was knowledgeable, trustworthy, fast, and well-mannered (and was okay with my dogs). Ive gone through a lot of work around our house lately and have been stressed. But thankfully this locksmith visit was hassle and stress free. We are 100% satisfied with the visit and results!.

I recently purchased my new home and at closing, I was surprised to get my key. Thats right, "key" -- they only had one key for the entire house, which only worked on ONE LOCK that was for an added on keypad deadbolt lock. Frustrated, I called A-1 coastal and a technician named Eric came out to my rescue. Not only did he re-key all the locks so everything matches, he also changed out a knob that was not in working order and made 4 original keys RIGHT THERE IN MY DRIVEWAY! I appreciated the reasonable fees along with his patience while my 4 year old nephew was running around trying to help. He was very friendly and super quick, and i was grateful he squeezed me in on such short notice. This same company rekeyed my last house, and Ill continue to use them in the future. Highly recommended

I broke my Scion key in half and immediately called the dealership for a replacement, their prices were extremely high. They wanted to order a key that would take a couple of days to arrive, and they also said they would charge extra to program it. I turned to google and A-1 Coastal was the first result. Eric came out to my job site and he was able to make me a new key in a matter of minutes. I am extremely happy that I called them, his service was quick and very affordable. Will not hesitate to give them a call in the future.

I have used this Company over 10 times in the last few years and the Owner always answers the phone., He is by far the most knowledgeable Locksmith I have ever met. I had one Ford car key and fob and needed a second one. I went to the dealership who wanted to charge me 235. Then I went to one other locksmith and he wanted 85 just for the programming and I still had to purchase all the equipment. At A-1 Coastal Lock & Key I handed him my key and fob and got a working duplicate for 100 including tax plus a nice discussion. Glad to see that there is still a local trustworthy business out there that doesnt try to rip off students.

Amazing customer service! I called to schedule service and right away felt comfortable speaking to them over the phone.
